"This was my second visit, this time with my niece, and we had a great time. The cabin is clean and cozy, lots of games and movies for entertainment, a spacious kitchen for cooking, and a great location for exploring the Shenandoah Valley area."

"The Whispering Hillside property was lovely, clean, and offered at a very fair price. The house itself was great, and I really enjoyed the hot tub during the first part of my stay.However, I did run into a major issue when the pipes froze, leaving the house without water. While this was definitely a downside for a short trip, I can’t say enough about the host, Karen. She was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the ordeal.To make things right, she provided another one of her properties for me to move to and even refunded me for a night. The only real "con" was losing a full day of my vacation to pack up, drive an hour to the new location, and unpack again.Despite the bad luck with the weather, Karen’s professionalism saved the trip. I would definitely use her properties again and recommend them to others!"

"Lovely cabin. Amenities were very good, well stocked kitchen too. The only reason not to give 5 stars was that the cabin could have been cleaner when we arrived. There was lots of hair on the box spring in the main bedroom and floors needed sweeping. Otherwise great and we would rent this again. "

"I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars, everything about our weekend was so wonderful! Jeremy was a gracious host with easy communication and ensured we had everything we needed. The house was extremely well supplied and very cozy. The views were absolutely breathtaking and our dogs loved the private hiking around the property. We will absolutely be visiting again! "
