“We stayed at the Montigo Resort hotel as we were going to the Rock and Ribs festival. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes away from the festival by car. The hotel itself has a nice setting and does have a nice relaxed feel. Our room was fine and the bed comfortable. We did feel the room looked a little tired, especially the bathroom. The bath felt like you were going to fall through it and the shower was in the slope of the roof so you couldn’t stand up in it properly. Other than that it was a nice……

“Our stay at Peckingmill Inn was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Geoff was an excellent host, accommodating our needs for a vegetarian breakfast. Geoff clearly cares about his guests' experiences, and that means a lot. The only minus was the traffic noise at night, but that is not Geoff's fault.”

“I feel sad writing this review as this is such a lovely building with huge potential to be a great place to stay.
However, the Inn was actually closed on our arrival and all the lights were off, someone was waiting to check us in, but then left immediately after showing us to our room. There was only one bath towel and hand towel which we needed to share, the room was on the front facing a busy road and junction with traffic lights. As it was hot, there was no fan provided. The bed and pillows……

“Great to see EV charge points at places like this - it makes us much more likely to book if we know this is available. The room was small but comfortable. Food service in the pub was friendly and helpful - this included breakfast too.”

“Hi Jamie is a lovely young lady that runs the pub.
Very helpful.
The property is an old pub.
There’s homemade food but no breakfast.
But up the hill is a great cafe called The Hive.
Unfortunately due to the heat we had to have window wide open, the problem is that it’s a is a busy road and therefore you hear lots of traffic noise even late at night .
The bedroom 2 has a blind on back wall that lets light in from hall way .( I personally would block )
The shared bathroom needs some work (……
