「A very charming and remodelled village hotel with an excellent restaurant - locals and travelers alike are welcome. Chef creates new dishes depending the daily food availability - mostly local - organic and fresh. Room was very nice, clean and had a new wonderful bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast made to order plus smaller buffet for yoghurt, juices, cereals. We would come back anytime.」

「Great room with a view of the abbey opposite. Weather was shocking so ate in the pub (well, more of a restaurant) great food. Service was excellent. Had a minor issue which was resolved in a thoughtful way. Menu excellent for GF and Vegans (clearly marked). One of the best rooms, and with dinner £200 or thereabouts. Parking out back. Genuinely high recommendation.」

「Amazing stay at the Castle Inn. Check-in was superb – very friendly and informative. We had an issue with our bedroom, which we spoke to the manager Simon about and he was incredibly kind and understanding.
