Holiday Lodge Motel

"The room was clean, and check-in was easy. There was an air conditioner, and huge TV. My main criticism is in the poor upkeep of the property. The outside photos on Expedia were taken several years ago. There is a large empty algae filled fish tank in the office. The room had new furniture, but the walls were unfinished. The room was cheaper than the RV park we looked at. It helped us get on the road earlier the next day."

"Very disappointing experience overall. The room smelled strongly of smoke and felt musty from the moment I entered. Cleanliness was also an issue, as there were visible stains on the bed. The biggest problem, however, was the noise. The air conditioning and cooling units were extremely loud, and the walls seemed paper-thin — I could clearly hear neighboring guests, their TV, conversations, and other noise throughout the night, making it almost impossible to sleep properly. In addition, the general maintenance of the hotel did not meet expectations, as even facilities in the reception area were not functioning properly. What made the experience even more frustrating was that my complaints were not addressed at all, neither by email nor by phone. Unfortunately, this was far below the standard I expected and not an experience I would recommend."
