We really enjoyed our stay. This property is beautiful, the sun hits the patio just right in the afternoon, the breeze off the lake is amazing, bed is comfy, and kitchen well stocked! We can't wait to come back! :)

I will be booking this cabin again! I and my family enjoyed the location, really enjoyed it's central location to all of the sites - it was like being at home, only better - my Son in-law and my Grandson fished every morning and evening, my daughter and granddaughters enjoy all of the local site seeing - my wife and myself have been to the UP many many times over the years, best trip yet - we will be back very soon - Thanks so much for a trip to remember!

The cabin was located on a very quiet lake, a little difficult to find, but very enjoyable. The kids had a great time fishing and swimming. We were able to visit the areas of the park we had wanted to see during the day, and then go back to the cabin to relax for the evening.

Was exactly what we were looking for for our weekend away. Quite place in the woods with no cell service. Wi-Fi was available if we wanted to hop online. Perfect place to disconnect and spend time with family.

I booked this property for my parents, children and I to spend time in the area of the UP we had never visited. The property was nearly exactly as described and we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. We loved the access to the lake, use of kayaks, and fire pit. The location is farther away from Munising than I anticipated so we did do a lot of driving to and from attractions but overall, we loved our stay at this property! Thank you!

Beautiful private lake cabin with swimming, kayaking & fishing and great view from the deck. Centrally located to access Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore adventures. Helpful hosts! Some repairs are needed but bathrooms, kitchen, bedrooms, WiFi/Dish (new) are all good.

Great location on an inland lake with short drive to Pictured Rocks hiking trails and 30 minute drive to Munising.
Cabin was very clean and well stocked, all kitchen amenities were available, gas stove and dish washers were a plus. Wi-Fi and Roku t.v. both great amenities as well.
Great fall colors during our stay and hiking in the National park on the Lake Superior shoreline was fantastic.

Perfect little cabin on the lake. We had a great time relaxing. Kristy gave perfect directions to the cabin. We never would have found it if she hadnt. The kids used the kayaks and had a great time. We took the paddle boat out a few times and had a good time. Would love to go back at some point when its a little warmer and can get in the water.

honestly we had to go to a whole different area of the country for our vacation, everything in this area was booked out. I wanted to be close to pictured rocks for a easy vacation w/ my little family, and we ended up having to pivot. I'm still really bummed about this.
So, if you are like me (I hope you are not like me!) and finishing out a year of cancer treatment and you just, for the love of all things holy, want a cabin to chill for a gosh-darn minute with your toddler and husband - you could consider double booking yourself so you don't end up incredibly disappointed.

This is our second time. Me and my two nephews, one flew in from WA both from Lansing. Since my husbands passing they have been my fishing buddies. Lake is a nice size for us. We bring our own boat but one is available. We love the set up of the house. I have master with bath. Boys have bunks and their own bathroom. Great front lawn for your furbabies. Firepit is awesome with a swing close by. Mostly caught Northerns and some pan fish. Fishing is good. Always enjoy going into Munising for Muldoons pasties.

Overall our stay was great! Cabin was a little hard to find but we came in at night with a few difficulties but their instructions were spot on! Its always harder to see at night.
The cabin was cute, inviting, and for the most part clean. There was a lot of hair/fur on a few of the bed's sheets but I just rewashed them and we were good. Lots of kitchen supplies/dishes/cookware.
A few things to note ... the closest restaurants and grocery store are a good 30 min drive. Picture Rock parks are also all a minimum 30 minute drive. Nothing bad for the cabin, just good to be aware.
There was a small mouse problem but the owners are aware and are actively trying to remedy the situation ... my dog tried to help out! Haha.
Overall great stay and would definitely stay again!!!

The location was very rural and we enjoyed being tucked away on a small lake with little noise...even heard a loon. There are several things about the house that are well done - 2 bathrooms and 2 spacious bedrooms, for instance, and a washer/dryer - but the inability to move easily from the living space to the great outdoors was a negative. The screen could keep bugs out of the house but the sliding door was ridiculously difficult to push open and closed. The sliding door in the master bedroom was easier but there was no screen so that had to be kept shut. Also the patio (which we sort of enjoyed one day at lunchtime) had a very dirty and torn cover detracting from the otherwise pleasant place to indulge in a relaxed meal. I think this cottage could easily be improved and it does make for a nice place to spend a few days in the Upper Peninsula.
