“The description and photos on Expedia did not match. I paid extra for the “Family 4 Person” option because the description and photos explicitly specified “separate bedroom” multiple times. However the room did not have a separate bedroom and the staff didn’t seem to know whether the room in the photos existed. I talked to the receptionist who put me on the phone with the manager. The manager said the Expedia description and photos are incorrect and that I should contact Expedia and my credit……

“Apartment is in great location. Apartment is very comfortable for two people, it is quite large. It was a shame there was building work going on so the gardens were noisy with construction materials. But once inside the apartment it was great. The four flights of stairs were not ideal. But the helpful staff carried our luggage up for us. A WhatsApp contact number would be helpful.”

“I was accommodated in a studio due to a miscommunication regarding the original booking. The studio was clean and comfortable and I was happy with the alternative provided. The building was a nice residential block, and the location was perfect (close to cafes, restaurant, parks). The studio could be better accommodated for longer stays, i.e. there was no kettle and no cleaning products (including washing up liquid & sponge for dishes). Someone came to tidy the apartment each week, but they……

“Very good and new hotel with all the necessities that you might require. The only negative part is the bad sound isolation from the hallway, it feels like the doors are made of paper. You also have to call/email before you check in to get your room number as it's not given to you when you arrive.”

“I have been here so many times that I cannot, over 20 years to say the least, one of if not the best place for me personally, everything was great from the food to the cleanliness and of course the wonderful impeccable service that the Shangri-La is famous for. What a wonderful stay and yes I will always return here for many years to come”

“I give the Ascott apartments a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the easiness of booking to the smooth and easy check in. Our host was outstanding as well as the helpfulness of all staff on hand. Apartment was spacious, clean, and comfortable. A great place to call home when your far from home. Never any issues and quick responses when needed.”

“Nice stay, good location.When using GRAB taxi, use the Ascott Building as a reference. We used the address and had to walk 20 minutes to get there once dropped off. The check-in is in the back of the building, not the Ascott entrance.”
