“The view from absolutely everywhere is stunning. We had the chance to see a plethora of birds and monkeys from our little pool in our balcony. The drive there is a little challenging but the location makes it all worth it. Taking a shower indoor/outdoor is one of a lifetime experience. ”

“Rooms and facilities were gorgeous, of course! Good very expensive. Pool was divine - sunny and shady areas, infinity edge, two hot tubs!! Sloth Garden Tour was the best ever! Lots of wild sloths, fabulous guides who help yo take iPhone photos with their scopes!! Great private truck tour - guide Katherine knew where everything lives, and took us right to them. Not much walking, exciting spotting, excellent photos!! Fishing tour through Botanika was much better than one we booked in……

“A lovely stay. Clean, spacious waterfront suite with a fabulous water view where you can relax on the porch protected from the sun and rain and enjoy your breakfast. Excellent service, effective A/C. Pretty quiet overall. Nice pool. We would happily stay here again. 10/10, no notes. ”

“Tres bel endroit, personnel attentionné et très gentil, le barman et manager Mario est toujours disponible pour repondre aux questions et organiser des tours. À quelques pas de ma plage, la nourriture est excellente, que ce soit au dejeuner au diner ou au souper. Seul petit bémol, il n’y a pas d’air climatisée dans les chambres donc un peu chaud mais il y avait tout de meme un ventilateur. ”

“Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge ”

“Would highly recommend! Beautiful grounds, unique and comfortable villas, amazing breakfast baskets and the best cocktails we had in CR. Its owner operated with a personal touch. Location is good too - tucked away and quiet but just a quick drive to restaurants and shops. ”

“What a fabulous location. An immersive rainforest experience, with a beautiful view from our balcony. You could hear a variety of birds singing. It was music to the ears and you really felt connected with nature. If you ever decide to come to Uvita, this is the place to stay. The natural materials used in the accommodation complemented the surroundings. Very pleasing to the eye all around.”
