A beautiful comfortable cottage.

We had a great experience at the cottage which is centrally located and a short drive from many experiences. The cottage was warm, inviting and comfortable. We would definitely return and enjoy another stay.

Great Cottage and Location

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was perfect for our visit. We were able to walk to several restaurants and it was a short ride to Santa Anita. Kim was very responsive to a few questions we had and provided recommendations for restaurants. We would stay again!

Wonderful cottage

Loved the quaint cottage and the quaint town and the location at the foothills of some lovely hiking trails. Fresh grapefruit in the morning was delicious! Highly recommend this haven in SoCal!

Lovely Cottage

We very much enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect — homey and comfortable. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions. The neighborhood was gorgeous, quiet, and comfortable with a fantastic hiking trail just down the street.

Lovely cottage in a great location

My sister and I (both senior citizens) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'd have liked warmer weather, but still managed to visit many of the attractions nearby - Huntington Gardens, the Arboretum, the Gamble house, and more. The cottage was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Communication with the owner was quick and easy.

Nice visit even with the rain

It rained so hard the entire time that the property manager came over and turned their sprinklers off. We had a nice time despite the rain.

Perfect

We enjoyed our stay at Lavender Cottage. The location was great. As soon as you step outside, the first thing you see are the mountains. The neighborhood is full of trees and very quiet. The house is near the little downtown area where you can find just about everything. We walked from the house to the square. There is a little grocery store, local places to eat, and entertainment. We would gladly stay here again.

Paradise in the foothills

Our family was born and raised in the SG Valley. The mountains are part of our life and memories. We rented this sweet and peaceful house to visit our CA family, visiting from our new home in Tennessee. It was so wonderful being so close to the mountains and to hiking trails, just far out enough from the city to have easy access to everything. The VRBO information was extremely accurate and I would highly recommend this tranquil house if you're visiting the area! Thank you to the hosts for a lovely and unforgettable stay.

Lavender Cottage: a perfect home away from home.

The Lavender Cottage perfectly fit our needs as we were visiting family in the Sierra Madre/ Pasadena area. We loved the quiet neighborhood and being within walking distance to both the quaint downtown of Sierra Madre and the trail to Mt. Wilson. The cottage is very comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the wonderful sunny LA weather in the backyard as we watched the hummingbird flying from flower to flower. Kim Brandstater was very attentive and responsive to our inquiries. It was a perfect home away from home

Beautiful Gem in the hustle and bustle

This beautiful home was perfect for a little girls getaway, it was quaint and beautiful tucked away in the hills. Although a little loud with some work being done next door and older windows, it was perfect. They have done a beautiful job with the home and the yard!!!! They were so accommodating and responsive if I had a question or concern, it was my first experience with Vrbo and I’ve got to say it was perfect! Thank you Kim and Justin!

Lovely Sierra Madre

Cottage was perfect for a girlfriend getaway to see the Rose Bowl floats at Float Fest. It was dark when we arrived and the access code wasn't working.When we messaged the hosts they didn't reply until several hours later. It was New Year's Eve and they were likely out but it was tense until we realized we were trying to get into the wrong property! We figured it out on our own but the host didn't reply to our text for over 4 hours. We also had to ask about any check out instructions. Communication could be better. But we loved the property and hope it survived the fire. Iwas New Year's Eve but

Beautiful Home

I loved everything about this property. The home is so cozy and in a historic area of Sierra Madre. The owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I work in Los Angeles but had to commute to the Inland Empire for meetings and this property was a central location to both. I look forward to staying again in the future.

Lovely cottage in a great little neighborhood

This is our second stay at the Lavender Cottage and we’ve loved it both times! This time we liked spending time in the garden backyard and walking to the restaurants and shops down the street. We hope to visit again!
