SIESTA KEY PERFECTION

Had a great time! House was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We didn’t need to bring anything for our beach days since the owners supplied lots of beach items (umbrella, wagon chairs etc) The house is within walking distance of a small beach but it was too small for spending the day but we were able to drive to the main beach area that had plenty of parking and a huge beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, clean, and spacious house! Wished for more direct sunlight in the pool but it was noted on the website so we knew forehand that it would be that way.

Dream vacation in Siesta Key

Perfectly fit our needs

This was perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and one infant. (parents and 2 married sons). This home has several gathering places for all of us to hang out together, yet we all had our own private space. Gracious host and prompt responses when needed. Everyone loved it and had a great vacation. I wish it could have lasted another week!

Great place on a great key

Walking to town is a bit longer but a nice way to start the morning. Facilities were in great shape and maintenance company was responsive. We would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at the Shell Beach Home...The home was immaculate and extremely comfortable for our family. The north end of the Key is full of beautiful homes and very convenient to Siesta Key Beach and Village. Also, located well for off-island excursions into Sarasota and elsewhere. Be sure to catch the sunsets from Shell Beach- they are spectacular and not to be missed!

Great spot

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The pool and the proximity to the beach were both amazing. We were extremely happy with the house and all the came with it. We had pool and beach supplies that were available to us. The only thing to keep in mind is that there is very little in the way of spices and condiments. And there is only one roll of TP per bathroom. If you are a group of more than 2-3 people, be sure to grab some when you stop at the grocery store. Although there were a few things that could have been provided, it didn’t stop us from having a wonderful vacation. I would recommend staying at this house and we will certainly come back to this property if we find ourselves in Sarasota again. Thank you for providing such a great house!!

Almost an A+

Everything about this property was perfect for our family...except the lack of ESPN on the TV. We were there during the busiest football week of the year for college bowl games, we had 5 large TVs, we are huge college football fans and we watched ESPN on a mini I-Pad sitting on the coffee table with 7 people around it. After paying premium rent for a holiday week, we would have thought the owners could have spent $10-15 more a month for the next level of cable. ESPN did not allow any kind of hook-ups to get it onto a TV screen. Very disappointing. Otherwise the property was great. A lot of traffic to get to the beautiful public beach, but that was probably because of the holiday.

Great Family Vacation

We loved our stay at Shell Beach House. The property was clean. The pool was great - we paid extra to have it heated. It does require a drive to get to Siesta Key beach which was not a problem for us because with a 9 month old, we utilized the pool more than the beach. Shell beach (a very small beach) is within walking distance and my 4 year old enjoyed that. Being on the corner of a main road, there was some loud traffic on the weekend but it calmed down after 10 pm or so. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. Great place for a family vacation!

Fantastic vacation!

Beautiful home & pool, we truly enjoyed everything about this rental property. Morning coffee overlooking the tropical pool setting, very spacious home with everything you need. Perfectly outfitted for a day at the beach, umbrellas, chairs, cooler. Property Management company was one of the best we ever worked with. Highly recommend & we will be back!

Great location and spacious

The home was nice and spacious and great for having adult age kids. Nice having rooms with queen size and king size beds. Downside would be the WiFi. None of us had our phones on WiFi, and could only use one TV at a time and that still buffered. Had to have property manager come in. But it was still a problem. Definitely could not work remotely from there.

The Siesta Key Getaway

This is an awsome house with with tons of space, a beautiful backyard and quality furnishings. My friends and I had an amazing time and would highly recommend you consider making this your next beach getaway.

Family trip to Florida

We loved our stay here! The outside oasis would bring us to come back here again. The pool and downstairs patio was wonderful. Would love to have had an outside bathroom but other than that it was a wonderful experience. Not in the super touristy area but a 5-7 min drive to the beach, which was a plus for us.

Beautiful House

This house itself was beautiful and fit us all perfectly. Has everything you need. Pool was fun too. The biggest downfall for us was location. I thought we could walk to the beach. You can walk to a pile of sand no bigger than a front lawn but its not really a beach. It was packed in that area so no where to even sit. You can't go outside that little area as there are rocks. So for us we had to load up and go to public parking which of course is super busy. I was under the impression we could have true beach access just walking distance. I live to take coffee and walk along the beach in the morning. Just couldn't do that. The trolly was available but we came at a very busy time so having to wait wasn't fun. Overall the property was beautiful and had we known more about the beach area ahead of time it might not have been a disappointment.

Great Place but Traffic is so Loud!

House and pool were great. Beach access is a lot further than what is stated in description if you have more than 2 people wanting to go to beach. Traffic is awful and extremely loud!! Cars are constant drag racing and music loudest you have ever heard! Siesta needs to consider having some noise ordinance for sure!!
