“Nice hotel”

“The beach is perfectly clean and very close, no seaweed. The ocean is so warm and beautiful. The local bus which they call trolley is free to use. We landed at Sarasota International Airport that is closer than Tampa. It is beautiful to see everything around you. Beautiful Florida. Owners should make clear that guests don’t have to go to a different property to check in. Online registration is annoying. Our room was clean and a new unit. My son picked up an ear infection in the pool.”

“The best part about this hotel is the location. It’s literally just across the street from the beach, which was super convenient. The biggest disappointment was the beach umbrellas. They only have 5 umbrellas for both Tropic Isle and Seaside, which makes no sense, especially on Fourth of July weekend??? There weren’t any extras either. Five umbrellas are nowhere near enough for all the guests for both locations?? We didn’t bring our own beach gear because we expected the hotel to have enough……

“The room was modern and clean. Only negative there was there wasn’t a microwave. The issues were that the check in office is at a different location with no parking. After walking to the office, I learned that parking near your room is also not guaranteed. We did get lucky and found a spot but did not want to drive anywhere and loose our spot.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. We traveled with our 80 year old family member and everyone went out of their way to make her comfortable. The food was spectacular, and the cocktails were delicious. The walk to the beach is very easy and the pool was wonderful.”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but after spending nearly $2,000 for two nights, I feel people should know what to expect. We arrived on a Thursday night and there was no one available to check us in, leaving us trying to figure everything out late at night with a small child. The room wasn't ready—the ceiling fan remote was missing, so we couldn't use the fan. Since the rooms only have window A/C units, we ended up sleeping hot our first night.
