5/5 Excellent
"What to say?? It was okay. My wife thinks I have high expectations but, I disagree! Overall the hotel is fine. The location is good for getting up to the Citadel and walking into the town. The food was good and breakfast okay, but not awesome.
The bathroom in our family room was great. The beds were good (but extremely soft if you like that kind of thing). The TV was dreadful with no reception and only fuzzy reception on Romanian-only channels.
Pool: the pool is good. You need to get an armband from reception for 20lei deposit to get to the pool. Whilst the pool was great, the surroundings were crawling with ants. They were everywhere on most of the sun loungers. Also, the jacuzzi wasn’t working and the sign was in solid Romanian so I wasn’t sure why really. Excuse my ignorance of Romanian as a language, I just don’t have a use for it day to day. Overall, it was fine but not awesome.
I didn’t really feel welcome at all, but that might be just a language thing. I won’t be going back I don’t think. Shame really.
Conclusion: good enough for a family at the price, but not amazing. If you like ants, all the better."
