"Nice location and a clean place to stay. But if you are planning on walking to the ancient city of Sigiriya it’s a 30 min walk from the hotel. Not a 1 min walk as advertised. The service was good but the food was at best average, specially dinner “À la carte”. Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety which was good but the food was average. Good for a short stay."

"We don’t understand why there are some medium reviews about this place; it is such a beautiful eco resort, lovely surroundings, great staff, you have a view of Sigiriya Rock from the pool, there are friendly monkeys and other sorts of beautiful animals around. "Was reluctant to book this hotel after reading some of the negative reviews. We were so pleasantly surprised. "Really enjoyed our short 2 days in Sigiriya - absolutely lovely hotel and amazing grounds. We really enjoyed the breakfast, all the staff were very nice and helpful.
