While it was unclear whether the property had a hot tub as listed, my daughter enjoyed her time digging out enough snow to open the door to the balcony. Very pleased with the ease of check in, value for the money, location, and comfort of the Painter's House."

"Small place as expected, but we were able to squeeze our family of 5 into it for the night. Owner was helpful and communicative. Cute small town. Not 100% sure, but I think there was a public putting green across the street for golf lovers."

"We arrived in the evening, driving through clouds unable to see anything. We awoke to find we were surrounded 360 degrees by gorgeous mountains! We were awed!It was a bit of a drive on a dirt road but well worth it. The house was great. As described. The hot tub was an added treat. Lots of hiking and waterfalls everywhere too!Everything was great and communications were easy. Thank you "

"We enjoyed our night here as we explored Northern Iceland. I was concerned that it might feel really tight with 6 adults - and it probably would have for a longer stay, but for a quick overnight or a longer stay for a family with kids (who would enjoy the small playground), it's great. The surroundings are absolutely gorgeous."
