Our villa was wonderful, large spacious room. The staff came twice to our villa to carry out housekeeping. The Royal Sands Koh Rong certainly has an eye for detail and think of everything a traveller needs. We are very glad we stayed here. Special mention to Kean and Sela who were amazingly welcoming and assisted with all our various queries. Sela booked us a car to pick us up from Sihanoukville pier to our hotel. The Royal Sands made our stay on Koh Rong perfect!

Everything was perfect, except for the fact that my husband fell ill (we suspect food poisoning). The hotel has a nurse who assisted him and provided medication. I’d definitely go back in any case.

It’s really hard to fault this hotel…it’s practically perfect in every way. The resort is beautiful and natural, it fits so well into its beach location. The eco practices are spot on…the beach was full of fish swimming around you in the jade green waters, geckos were abundant and listening to the frogs, along with the waves on the beach is a wonderful way to fall to sleep. Both restaurants were beautiful offering great f & b…my partner especially loved the eggs Benedict made to order. Two minor criticisms (and I stress they are minor) are that there was no full length mirror in our room and that sun lounges by the pool were not in sync with the style/comfort of the rest of the resort. In finality this resort has become one of our favs and we cannot wait to return..

The resort is unique in its own. An unique property with a 4 km pristine beach in front. The staff is really professional and welcoming and the area is extremely clean and calm. There are, however, some aspects that might have been handled differently, such as: - communication with the hosts: after having booked the property for the new year period, we have been told that there was a 'mandatory' NYE dinner at 150usd/person, without alcohol. We found the request quite shocking as a guest should be informed before making a reservation. Furthermore, there was no menu a' la carte for that price but a series of food station not in line with a 5 star hotel establishment. The quality of the breakfast can also be improved with a better choice of gluten free options, that should be in line with the standards of a 5 star establishment. Other points to improve: - sustainability: use of plastic can be reduced, in line with new sustainability strategies of other similar hotels; - property conditions: in some houses, thatch on the roofs is almost gone and need to be put again; - looking for alternatives for energy generation: use of solar panels on houses' roofs can diminish the pressure of oil fuelled generators in the area. Despite all this the staying was relaxing although I would not classify the resort as a '5 stars' if one compares it with other ones in the country or the region.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Royal Sand auf Koh Rong in Kambodscha rundum genossen. Die Atmosphäre ist einfach wunderbar – ruhig, entspannt und trotzdem voller Leben. Der Strand ist makellos sauber, der Sand angenehm fein und das Wasser glasklar. Ein echtes Paradies! Das Essen im Resort ist hervorragend: frisch, abwechslungsreich und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Alle Mitarbeitenden waren unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und bestens aufgehoben. Wir haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Absolute Empfehlung! 🌴✨

立地上仕方ないのかとは思いますが、ホテル内だけではなく、海の清掃も朝早くからしているスタッフ等ありがたいです。バリ島では、ゴミが足に絡むビーチでがっかりしました。ビーチでのんびり、スパでも毎日身体をほぐしてもらい、リフレッシュ出来ました。スタッフは、気軽に話せ皆さん明るく親しみやすくフロントに行くのが楽しみでした。

Veldig bra hotell, sted og service! Masse vennlige og hjelpsomme ansatte, og en spesiell takk til Jonny D for å vise oss øya. Samt til jentene på fastland, som hjalp oss med privat båt ut til øya når vi ankom. Hotellet har også veldig mye bra mat i restaurantene, så en stor takk til den mexicanske kjøkkensjefen for god mat. Hotellet anbefales på det sterkeste!

Un séjour inoubliable ! Un personnel au petit soin qui se rappel de vous et de vos demandes, une chambre impeccable et avec des très belles prestations Le resort entier et similaire, des navettes de l hôtel payante permettent de se déplacer sur l île mais en vrai les repas sont plutôt dans les très bons restaurants de l hôtel, ils sont en revanche au pris parisien 😅

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, wenn man einen Bungalow direkt am Strand bucht. Allerdings alles sehr teuer. Es kamen Transportkosten mit eigenem Boot dazu. Je Fahrt 40$/pers. Jede Aktivität vor Ort kostete und der Hikingweg in direkter Umgebung zum nächsten Ort war zugewachsen.

Les mots sont faibles pour décrire le niveau de qualité de cet hôtel. Magnifiques prestations en bordure d’une très jolie plage de sable blanc. Les repas sont excellents et le petit-déjeuner très varié. Mais le plus fabuleux c’est la qualité du service, rarement vu une telle qualité même dans des palaces parisiens!
