「Classic old mining town stay. The bar below is a staple in Rico and the accommodation transports you to those mining times, with wonderfully updated amenities. This is the second time we have stayed here, both times were easy, magical and comfortable. Cant wait to return! 」

「We had a great time in Rico, but I will say that this experience isn’t for everyone. The property comprises of 4 rooms with two shared bathrooms and one communal kitchen. Luckily we were the only ones who had booked the place during our stay, so it was actually MORE than we needed. This would be an ideal space for a larger family whom is used to sharing a home together. 「The listing lists the bathroom as part of the space, but it is shared. It also does not share that while there is no air conditioning (which fine, that is common in the mountains) there is also no fan or operable windows in the room. My room was 80 degrees when I arrived at 1 AM and there was nothing to be done about it. The hallway is also on an occupancy sensor that turns the hallway lights on and off all night, which shine into the rooms through windows above the doors. 」
