Previously when we stayed in a Transit Hotel in Singapore, it was quite good value and flexible since we could choose how many hours we would like to stay. This time, we felt the Ambassador Transit Hotel is taking advantage of the situation of transit passengers. For a 6-hour stay, we could only check in at 12 midnight, and for a 3-star hotel, we got charged an average 4-star Australian nightly tariff ! Perhaps in future we would try to transit through other countries.

Perfect for a night in bed in between flights. Clean room, comfortable bed and minimal noise, just other guests closing their doors. Only criticism, breakfast. A warm sloppy plastic box affair. Something tasted odd so stopped halfway through and sure enough had a loose stomach a couple of hours later. So just avoid any food and all will be fine.

I did get the service promised. I ordered food fours earlier n the food was not delivered. I was asked to wait n I would have missed my connection. The online rate was $50 higher n poor customer service.
