Inside room damp smell and wet, paid extra to move to a room with a window ( did not open ) . At least this room did not smell damp. TV did not work turned on and off by itself. bed quite hard, towel very small and thin, black mould on air conditioner vent can not be good for breathing Shower very good and close to many food outlets. maybe Ok 1 night stay budget hotel for singapore but Bangkok has much better hotels at less than half the price.

I found everything to be good from location, staff, room, cleanliness...etc except 1 thing. The towels are a complete let down. I understand the weather is hot and humid so thin towels are faster to dry after use but they need to be replaced NOW because they are so worn-out. There are things worthed saving money on but new towels are definitely worth it. Ask other customer for their opinions too. My name is Hung Tran, I was there for 3 nights from 04/09/23 to 07/09/23.

Easy to go around
It's a small / unique hotel with all the basic supplies. Conveniently located and easy access to the entire little Red dot via MRT where the Bugis Blue Line station is just right next.

The beds were really hard The room was freezing, even when increased to 25 degrees it was still cold. I asked for blankets and was given an extra sheet. Was told they didnt supply "comforters" The bathroom was covered in mould Was told cleaning only happened every 3 days, on day 4 there was no sign of anything having been cleaned: sheets/towels/bathroom still dirty. However the temp had been turned down to 16 degrees! Was nice and central despite the issues

You could tell this was changing over. Not much was available. Small room with no light meant a worried sleep the night before catching the bus next morning. Lots of great restaurants nearby and walking distance to museums and galleries.

It's the worst experience I ever had. Try to contact them before my arrival to inform them I got covid and also requested from hotels.com that I need to change to another date or get a refund but hotels.com said they can't be contacted after several days. I had even try to msg, email and call the hotel but to no avail. I am questioning how hotels.com pick the hotels under their listing. How can the hotels not reachable!!! This is utterly not responsible and thoughtful in this challenging times we are traveling in

The best thing about The Marrison Hotel is the location, very close to the Suntec convention center (where my conference was being held) and surrounded by literally dozens of great restaurants. The hotel itself was pretty bad unfortunately, with probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on in my life. There are no amenities, they don't even have ice available, and the "shower" is basically a handheld nozzle on a hose over the toilet.

Ok for 1 night. Room was clean! The shower is too small (less than 1 m2). Breakfast is 1 block away from the hotel at a restaurant. The food was cold and the person there showed no manners. I stayed at the hotel 3 nights and took breakfast the first morning.

Room is small without window. There is no shower cubic or curtain in bathroom so showering will make everywhere wet, but it seems reasonable with the price in such expensive city.

Restaurant is outsourced and they don't know the meaning of CP plan. They had only Non-Veg meal , No Juice , No Fruits,No butter only Non-Veg (frog ) .Requested restaurant staff to provide some veg meal but they replied very rudely and had bread only. Had to eat outside every morning . Rest Hotel staff & Rooms was good .

Dishonest hotel.
It was a mouldy room, with no water provide, room with all the wall paint fall out, no window , and is totally out of hotel.com picture was shown. pay USD100 but only USD 20 standard. Wonder how is hotel.com will look into this issue. Yet trying to convince us to up grade, what room will they give again and who knows ask to upgrade to suit. Very disappointed and piss off with the front desk service.

Dasnamurthy, Thank you for taking the time to have us reviewed. Being an economy hotel, the sizes of our rooms are in line with other hotels of similar class (9sqm to 15sqm). Ours measure 11sqm. As for rates, the hotel adopts a dynamic pricing approach. So it does pay to book early.

I was horridied. Nothing like the photo advertising their rooms. 2 single beds with about 30cms between them . Bathroom was so small after a shower everything was wet. Far too expensive for this hotel. Unless you are happy to stay in a dog box, its not suitable.
