Sion is a small town. The hotel is about 30 mins journey from old town area. Modern designed hotel.

Simple hotel, small room, but comfortable beds and good quality cosmetic. Little bit chaotic breakfast. Cheese platter was in 2 different places. One coffee machine had good coffee, another one had bad one.

Decent property but the rooms run at about 25-27C in summer - making it impossible to sleep and uncomfortable-no air circulation and windows only crack open about 3cm. (1 inch) Beds are not comfortable - but it’s the hot stagnent air in the room that makes this property unbearably hot. No air conditioning.

Our air-cooling system is according to the Swiss law on the natural cooling system using groundwater. Article 382/1 lays down the requirements for room air temperature and other comfort features. The room temperature is automatically set according to the outside temperature and opening the window automatically switches off the cooling system. The is not an air-conditioning system but a natural method which was put in place with the goal of helping reduce the effects of climate change. We apologize for the inconvenience encountered and we are hoping to be able to welcome you again at the Moxy Sion for a more pleasant and delightful stay.

Cool hotel, but poor air conditioning
Great location, cool, hip hotel. Staff was very nice. The only issue we had was the lack of fans in the room and air conditioning that only goes down by 4 degrees. Hotel staff said it's a Swiss environmental thing. We could hardly sleep at 30 Celsius. Opening the windows would not have made a difference. No airflow. Would have been nice to have ceiling fans.

Perfect stopover hotel.
Perfect hotel for a stopover. Located on the outskirts of Sion, convenient for motorway. Brand new, clean and comfortable. Suitable for short stays only as rooms don't have wardrobes. Breakfast selection could be better.

Sion - not far from the hospital
Beautiful modern hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Little encouraging messages all over the hotel. A good selection of hot and cold items for breakfast. Quirky decor; strip lights made from skis. If you have to get up at night, a light comes on under the bed and lights up the floor so you can see where you are going. Cool! Lovely, fluffy bath towels. I will certainly come here again.

Bonjour, nous avons cette fois ci, eu quelques désagrément pour ce séjour: On nous a servi au env. de 22h, une assiette de pâte CHF. 14.00 env. "IMMANGEABLE" aucune idée comment au peu servir ceci!!! ET .... à 24h environ, une alarme dans la chambre, nous a réveillé en sursaut, pour sortir de la chambre en vitesse et ensuite pour entendre que c'était une fausse alarme!! Pour couronner le tout, du côté de notre fenêtre c'était la place de parque et là se trouvait une party/Disco oû on pouvait entendre la musique et les gens qui se trouvaient devant l'entrée!! Une nuit donc pas de tout repos!
