Property is currently being renovated so there were some things such as the carpet in the hallways that's in pretty rough shape, but that's understandable due to the renovation. Our room was newly renovated and very nice but it could have used a final dusting to get that last bit of plaster dust off the floor and out of the coffee pot. Overall, nice place to stay. Once all the renovations are done it will be very nice.

clean hotel i will give it that! water damage in rooms on desks/storage cabinets, carpet was torn at the doorway, some outlets in the room we stayed in did not work.

This property is located near many great dining and shopping options. Parking was easy and it was simple to access it from the interstate. Given the name, MICRO, the rooms are small, but I did like the firmness of the bed. It seems like there may have been an intent to upgrade this hotel recently? It seems like things in our room were kind of just painted over; there were definitely corners cut. There was insulation coming out from around the windows. The worst part was the noise. We heard every single thing our neighbors upstairs were doing. It was not a great night of sleep.

Due to ongoing renovations was told that is why wifi was not working. When asked if it would when they were done working for the day, was told did not know ... a few hours later at the end of the workday and for the full visit there was no wifi.

We enjoyed our stay at the Microtel Inn in Souix Falls SD. The room was very small but it was clean and we had everything we needed. It was also pet friendly which was a big plus for us. The breakfast was also very good with many options. We will definitely stay again when in Souix Falls.
