Lovely stay!

What a lovely home! It was a great fit for 4 couples and there were 6 extra beds we didn’t use. It was Comfortable and clean. Felt like a luxury getaway from home. We will stay again.

Great Family Home

We've stayed in BBR many times and this home was the BEST we've stayed in. The floorpan was perfect for multiple families to share and have their own space. Very walkable to lodge area. Kitchen was well stocked. Long table in dining area was perfect for family meals. We will definitely stay here again.

Family fun time

Centrally located to pools, trails and adjacent to a golf course. Plenty of room for large families. Our family had a great time despite having a problem with mice in the house. Hopefully this problem will be rectified for future renters.

We had more than enough room for our family of 14. The scenery around the complex was stunning. The main outdoor swimming pool was ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The main floor king bed still presents some issues, but we were able to work around it.

Lovely, open home walkable to many ranch amenities

Lovely, open home with a wonderful number of bedrooms and bathrooms. We stayed as a group of 3 families with 2 kids each and found that the bedroom configurations offered a lot of flexibility. There is a large projector screen in the downstairs main room, so consider bringing a projector to watch movies in a large group. There are also TVs in other smaller spaces. Walkable to the Lakeside bistro and pool and Robert’s pub. Would happily visit here again.

Great for a big group

This house was wonderful for a large group. The table sat a lot and there was bathrooms and bedrooms to for us all. There are some bed mattresses that are pretty poor that make a taco when you get in them, which isn’t great. Beware, with a large group, this house provides a ‘starter’ kit of items of consumables which may or may not be enough for your time there.

amazing place

Can't go wrong at Black Butte Ranch. This home was perfect and comfortable. Love the decor. Very cool fireplace, high ceilings, updated bathrooms and they updated and kept the charm of the home. So cozy, lots of windows and wood accents. I would only let the home owner know that maybe get a new grill. Everything else was PERFECT!! Hot tub was very clean and functioned perfectly, which is rare. Usually owners have them but they are not operational. I would come back! The place was better than the pictures.

A bit disappointing

Little things made the stay a bit uninspiring. There was only one dishtowel, no salt, lots of dirt under the beds, old worn towels, one tv without the remote required to turn it on, and the other with a cable that did not include any of the 3 major networks or ESPN, hence no football could be watched. Otherwise, it was as advertised and ok.

Stocked kitchen and easy

Amazing for our friend group that loves to cook. We were worried there would be bare minimum pans and dishes, but we were impressed! The only big disappointment was a couple of the king size beds upstairs were really bad… one had a crater like we’ve never seen. Black Butte Ranch was an amazing destination that we would do again and the house was, for the most part, very comfortable, especially the wood burning fireplace. Thank you!

Ski Weekend

This house was perfect for a couple families to get together with their kiddos and ski at Hoodoo! The house accommodations were awesome! Bunks for the kids, King size beds and plenty of bathrooms so nobody had to share. Kitchen was fully stocked and it was a great space for a big group! Hot tub was a favorite for all! Plenty of parking space. We spent one morning at the indoor pool which was so fun! I think the kids went down the slide at least a million times! We will definitely go back to this house again!

Very lovely spacious home

We had 5 families stay here, the kids loved the kids room, there were ample bathrooms, the beds and linens were comfortable, they had a good supply of dishes and containers. The BBQ and hot tub were well maintained. Good space for a larger group! We really enjoyed it!

Black Butte Aug 2022

The property itself is very nice. 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms makes it so convenient for everyone. Great location! Great dining table so we all were able to sit together for meals. Only one big suggestion for the owners regarding the house itself. There is NO PLACE to put food. When you have a house that sleeps as many people as this one does you have to know that there will be a lot of food. There is not one cabinet and only one small bottom drawer that was empty and available to put food stuffs. So food had to be out on counters in stacks. The cleaning of the property is where the problems were. Mouse droppings were found on the pillows and comforter in one bedroom and blood was found on the comforter of another bedroom. The people cleaning need to lift up their eyes and dust above the windows and the lights, wipe off the top of the microwave. The downstairs master does not have a bed frame so the mattress and what used to be called the box springs sits on the floor. The bottom box is covered with a sheet or some other covering but it is filthy and is clearly not changed periodically. Also the outside deck, which is quite nice with plenty of space really should have been blown off. There were mouse droppings or squirrel droppings under the window along with dirt and pine needles. I certainly expect pine needles and some dust but it clearly hadn't been swept or blown for a while. The rental agency was always quick to reply to fix any issue with the exception that the night before we left I requested additional laundry soap and dishwasher soap so I could start the last load as requested. I was told it would be handled by the local representatives but they never got in touch and nothing was delivered. IF the cleaning issues are addressed then I would certainly recommend this house, especially if the owner cleans out some of the drawers or cabinets so there is someplace to put food stuffs.

Beautiful home!

Stunning home with lots of space for family or friends to enjoy meals, play games read by the fire or relaxin the hot tub. The property rental team was outstanding- quickly resolving an issue. Highly recommend.
