Warm and cozy on a cold October weekend

Wonderful getaway

This place was everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Super well stocked, so cozy with fireplaces, great location. Beds were very comfortable and the layout is unique and perfect.

Very poorly cleaned

We arrived for a family reunion and the place was not cleaned there were even items left behind from the previous guests which indicated this was the case. The bathroom was unclean including dirty toilets and fluids on the show curtain. There were multiple light bulbs that need to be changed. Trash left in the trash can as well as under the bed. There are doors at the property that don't lock. Otherwise a completely fine property although far from the rest of the resort so there are much better located places to stay at.

BBR golf trip

Iam an owner at the ranch as well. We used this home for a few extras to sleep at. Fit just perfectly

Home not up standards

Not enough room to discribe how disappointing this home was. No effort to repair air conditioning or get rid of ants and roaches in home. Garbage can overflowing and full of maggots and bed sheets dirty. One and only vacation ruined.

AC did not work and the house was dirty

Super disappointed. We booked this trip last December for my wife’s birthday. We arrived and the house was 85 degrees, no biggie we will turn on the AC. AC did not turn on, tried resetting the thermostat with no luck. Only response was from AI text string which went nowhere. With no response from anyone we left the next day and rented another house. No response on getting a refund. Terrible experience

Sounded a lot better then it eas

DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT UNTIL YOU HAVE IRONCLAD ASSURANCES THAT THE AC WORKS. My family rented this unit for a week in July when the day time temps are in the high 80 s to low 90s. Our group included 5 adults and 4 kids. Some were seniors and others had breathing difficulties. We specifically rented this unit as it was advertised as having central air conditioning. We chose Vacasa as it claimed it would provide the customer with first class service, would provide a unit with the amenities listed and it would be responsive to customer problems or issues. Sadly that wasn’t true. When we arrived it was clear that the AC issues had been ongoing due to the amount of fans in each bedroom and throughout the house. Our trip to spend time with family and grandchildren while focused on making memories was heavily disrupted dealing while Vacasa and working with service providers. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation was anything but. Vacasa told us that the air conditioning was broken and we never had it. Vacasa took 3 days to have the unit looked at. Vacasa refused to provide us with a substitute unit that had air conditioning. Vacasa said they were sorry but that they couldn’t do anything more despite their promises and pre-rental representations. We suffered for a week of indoor temperatures in the 80s on the ground floor and temperatures which felt like the 90s in the upstairs bedrooms (3 of the 5 in the house.). Appliances neede upgrading

Cascade house was not up to par

We arrived to an unclean house: surfaces were not wiped, including the floors, some of the towels were dirty, The outdoor deck had a dirty table and spills on the floor. In addition, three of the major blinds were up on one side and down on the other. There were no trash bags of any size and no Windex for cleaning the surfaces and dirty windows. We soon learned that things in the house were not working properly: The washing machine was broken, the smoke alarm in the kids room erroneously went off at five in the morning, The faucet in the master bathroom was missing a handle. We have rented many VRBO‘s and always given five star ratings; this is the first time we’ve been disappointed with our stay. We contacted Vacasa and got automated responses and promises but no action (and a small refund on our cleaning fee) This is a nice house that needs to be uncluttered and to receive some proper maintenance and a proper and deep cleaning.
