“Overall this is a very good hotel but when I ordered a cab to Crescent harbour. I hope the reception could tell me that Crescent harbour is just 5 minutes away that one could walk. So that I could have an option to walk or take the car.”

“Room was clean and check in was fine. No coffee or cups in the room. Hot cold switched in bathroom sink and the tub filled with water while showering. Seems to be going backwards as I’ve stayed here multiple times. The Expedia site says all fees covered in the price, that is not the case. Was charged a fee on check in. Had to add a night on top of the 4 days I was there and was charged 70.00 over the Expedia price… hope the new owners get it together.”

“This is a family owned Inn, and, you are truly treated like family. If I'm ever in Sitka and it's still owned by Vicki and staffed with Laila and Kyle, I'm staying here again! Laila is one of the most observant and kind and patient people I've ever come across! Miss Vicky the owner needs to write a book, but, she's too busy! Property is super clean, including rooms and beds are super comfortable with super soft sheets! There are things available to snack on, juices, coffee and ice! I……

“The hotel may have rebranded to the Southeast Resort, but it is an old hotel. The refrigerator shell was broken. The room just looked tired. The elevator was extremely slow. The bathtub wasn't really clean and there was someone else's long hair clinging to the shower curtain, yuck. On the positive side the bed was quite comfortable, and the hotel location is right by downtown and close to tourist areas.”

“The radiator heat was automatically set WAY too warm for the first 5 days, then was OK. We only used the fireplace once when the radiator heat had been off too long, and it warmed things right up. There was no heat control in the room, and it's such a pain to get a msg to the host, that we didn't bother. Not happy at all that the only way to contact the host is via VRBO, and talking with an East Indian whose English is hard to understand. Probably our last stay via VRBO! The waterfront view was……
