Los Angeles Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Hotels

"I arrived to check-in and first red flag was “hotel”s location, I should’ve known better and checked before. Walking in the lobby clerk told me it was Cash only which was not labeled anywhere when booking this room so he made me use a broken atm machine that only dispensed a single $20 bill before making me walk around the corner to the nearest liquor store atm. The liquor stores atm was broken too! Thank lot they accepted cash back and I had some cash on me for the trip to cover room. The clerks are really unfriendly, when I asked about parking he told me under his breath through a doubled lanes glass that it’s in the back and first come first serve. The parking is horrible if you’re getting back late in the evening. The rooms are clearly used for sheltering homeless as the room was disgusting, unkept, and smelled like cigarettes. The walls paint is falling off and the bathroom floor had a gooey mystery mark that looked a lot like dog feces. I’m just hoping I have not caught any rashes or bumps from sleeping, toileting, and showering in this room. From about 5pm-8am all you hear from upstairs neighbors is “furniture moving” which got very irritable in middle of the night. At check out another clerk was giving a very hard time to a young lady who had issues with her ID and had cleared her situation with the previous clerk from the day before. I didn’t want to be charged a petty fee so I had to wait their whole 20 minute ordeal. There is also mold and roaches present in room."

"Hotel was clean. Very close to universal studios, about a 5 to 10 minute walk, also offered a shuttle. Check in and consierge staff very helpful and nice. Convenient lobby bar and restaurant. My only complaint was breakfast was extremely overpriced. A good variety of buffet style breakfast but not for the price. Hostess at breakfast was quite rude but otherwise good stay if you're wanting to stay right near the park. More affordable options nearby if you rent a car."

"we were very satisfied with the cleanliness and comfortability of the room and the pool side area. The breakfast was very good as well. The only thing that could have improved on the breakfast was the eggs. They were scrambles in muffin tin shape and my family doesn't like them that way. Overall it was a great experience with the room, pool, breakfast, and check in and out. Thank you to the staff. "

"This was just a quick stay to be closer to the airport but the hotel was excellent! We arrived early and they held our bags while we played at Universal then arranged transportation to the airport the following morning. Property was clean and safe. "

"Overall, it was a good stay, nice location, friendly staff. I did enjoy how they gave us the complementary bottles of spray on their deodorant to conquer the California heat. The beds were comfy and the water pressure and the shower was amazing. Definitely will stay again."
