"karuna Guesthouse was one of our favorite properties. We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room. They room was SPOTLESS and large with a tea kettle, tv, full bathroom and hairdryer!! "I very much loved this beautiful place! It's situated in a neighborhood that looks completely like what I expected Iceland to look like. The staff there were all very, very kind and helpful. "Getting to the guesthouse was a bumpy ride, be careful midway as there is a big difference in elevation, our suv most definitely hit the ground pretty hard. Other than this instance, the host was sweet and greeted me and gave me a tour for the guesthouse. The room was quaint and the facilities were clean. There is a hot tub in the back but i wasn’t able to check it out, though it wouldve been nice if I wasnt so tired. Would recommend! :)"

"This is a sweet quirky little chalet style hotel. It was built in 1833 ish and has some cool historical photos on the walls. It was fun to stay here for a night here after staying in more typical boutique hotels the rest of our trip.
