Man ist auf ein eigenes Auto angewiesen, erreicht dann aber Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Freizeitangebote (Wanderstrecken, StrĂ€nde am VĂ€nern, Draisine,...) problemlos und in annehmbarer Zeit. "Very relaxing place. The finishes were somewhat dated, but that added to the overall charm of the cottage. The separate single unit was very popular with the kids, and the lake view makes you want to stay forever! It was a short walk to the dock for a quick swim, and we enjoyed the activity center just up the road where you can kayak, hike, and zip line. "

"Nice little cottage surrounded by forest but minutes from downtown Amal. A few extra steps to book, but nothing difficult. Modern interior, fully stocked kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and coffeemaker, king size bed, strong AC in the main room, nice hot shower. Bring your own linens and towels, they are not provided. Indoor bathroom has a camp toilet, easy enough to figure out. FYI, parking is about 80 feet from the cottage, no driveway or sidewalk. I would definitely stay again."

"Wie haben das Haus fĂŒr zwei Wochen gebucht. Am ersten Abend hat uns direkt ein Elch begrĂŒĂŸt, dieser kam weitere drei Tage bei uns vorbei. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, einziger Punkt der vielleicht nicht so toll war, die Waschmaschine fĂ€rbt helle Sachen ein, ( eisenhaltiges Wasser ) man riecht es auch beim duschen :D War aber ok fĂŒr uns! In der NĂ€he gibt es schöne Naturreservate die man erkunden kann. Wir wĂŒrden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Stadshotell. The room was great overall, although it could use more counter space in the bathroom. Frukost was great, although you need to learn to make CRISPY bacon, not lumps of fat. Restaurant menu was outstanding. You need a photo of Amal's most famous singer in the hallway: GUNNEL EKLUND, instead of all the blues singers who have no genuine connection to the city."
