"Staff was amazing!! Great room!"

"From the moment I entered the hotel, I was impressed with the kindness of the staff, the aesthetic of the lobby and the beautiful courtyard garden and pool. The receptionists at the desk (Darlene and Tracy) graciously informed me that they can keep my bag allowing me to meander to Café du Monde because I arrive very early. Once my room was ready, the receptionist, Tracy, checked me in. I entered the room and was pleased by the decor. However, I thought I smelled urine. I thought it was my overactive imagination. The smell diminished so I did one more cleaning to see if it eliminate the foul odor…it didn’t. The sheets and cover on the mattress was pulled up to keep me warm. To my horror, the mattress has brownish stains on it. I was further horrified. I like the hotel, the staff, and the location, but the retched smell and the unidentified brown stains on the mattress almost ruined my stay. Please invest in new mattresses for the comfort and safety of your guest. "

Bed was twin while I booked king.I should have two beverages for free, did not happen.
