Perfect Location and Very Secure
Stayed for 4 nights. The building itself is very secure. You have to have the key fob to come in and get out of the building and parking garage. The unit has it’s assigned parking spot and is located in the basement of the building which is a plus.
The unit we stayed at was fully equipped. We didn’t use the kitchen but used the washing machine (no laundry soap tho so I had to buy - also no dryer). I love that the unit’s balcony opens up to the canal and we felt safe to leave the sliding door open which helped drying the clothes we washed.
Another great feature is it’s location. It’s walking distance to Battery Park and V&A. We didn’t realize how close we were to V&A at first so we drove to V&A the day we checked in then realized we could have just walked it. As I mentioned, we felt very safe. There’s actually a pathway that leads to Battery Park and V&A along the back of the building.
We were in constant communication with Propr, the unit’s Property team. They were very responsive to our questions. One minor suggestion - provide better towels. The towels provided were old and thin.
Aside from that, I would definitely recommend staying here and we would stay here again if we ever get a chance to visit Cape Town again.
