“This was everything I could have hoped. I stayed with my new puppy, and it was HEAVEN! Secluded, clean, safe, lake, hammock, porch swing......Heaven! The host was responsive to all my questions. Prior reviews mention it's great for groups, but, if you could use some quiet, private downtime, this is also perfect. As an aside, I have verizon for my cell phone and I could text without problem. If you NEED to talk on the phone, it's also possible but more spotty. Internet was very fast.”

“The Oak Cottage was exactly as described and had everything we needed. The location is quiet and tranquil with the Creek just down the hill. We arrived very late but the owner was a gem and brought us a lantern to combat the power outage caused by tornados in the area. 10/10 will stay again.”

“The Family loved the cabin. A great location to all the state parks we wanted to visit and right next to the lake. The house was clean and well equipped. My favorite spot was the porch. It has a couch, games, dart board and a hot tub. We didn't have a single issue with the cabin and would love to stay again.”

“We enjoyed our weekend so much!! The cabin was perfect, very clean and everything we needed was there. Erin and Bill are the best hosts! They gave us the grand tour of their 300 acre property and checked on us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She even texted us from the grocery and asked if we needed anything!! How thoughtful is that!! Will definitely be back! Wonderful location for exploring FCF and Burgess Falls.”
