Great location on a wonderful property. The beautiful stream and the shady trees make for a relaxing and enlivening environment. We especially enjoyed having a campfire. The interior of the cabin was cozy. The HVAC and the strangely dysfunctional kitchen lighting were the items that detracted from the overall delightful experience.

Sisters weekend

It was great for just hanging out between our activities. Good gathering places. Enjoyed wandering through the woods. Since we grew up sharing a bathroom, it was a trip down memory lane to just have one. :)

Great place!

We had a great stay at this house. It was clean and well furnished. It sits in the middle of a wooden canyon. The kids had a lot of fun playing outside. There is a playground, a small soccer field and a basketball hoop. It was also fun to explore the property and the creek area. The house had everything we needed. Nice play area for kids, comfortable beds. We just had to get organized as there is only one bathroom. Easy access to all commodities.

Fun property in a lovely location

The house is very unique and fun. Quite location near town but feels like you are out in the woods. The host was very friendly and easy to work with. We had everything we needed. The only drawback we noticed was that there is only one bathroom (not a surprise, it was in the listing) and a couple of the mattresses were pretty hard.

A Respite From Reality

What a lovely place to stay! It is quiet, quaint, and comfortable. The hammock chair was a huge hit, not to mention the wall of DVD's, books, and games to choose from. We really didn't have to leave to have a good time, although we did get out to explore. There are highland cows nearby!!! Tom was a gracious host. You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful getaway!

We had an amazing time at the Canyon Lodge. The property was clean and very well stocked. It accommodated our family of 8 perfectly. The best part was the property is pet friendly so we were able to bring out 2 dogs making it a complete family trip. There was nothing about the lodge or the property we didn't enjoy. We took advantage of the outdoor fire pit, projector screen for movies, toys for the kids, games and puzzles and exploring the property. Only regret is that we couldn't stay longer : )Tom was lighting fast to respond to any and all messages (much appreciated) We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks again Tom!

This property is enchanting. Wildlife (turkeys and deer) were present throughout our Autumn Break stay. The home is equipped with everything needed for a getaway. We were impressed with the owner’s immediate responsiveness to questions we had. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful cabin in the woods on the river

Our family loves this secluded cabin! The grounds are gorgeous with the autumn leaves. The cabin is so cozy and fun. We always make the best memories here. Thank you!

Beautiful location. Clean place. Loft access (ladders) is a little precarious, especially for older folks who might need easy bathroom access. Overall, nice place in beautiful location.

Excellent place to stay near Logan

We were in town for an event and this property worked perfectly for our family of six. The house was clean and we had everything we needed with a nice play area for the little kids. Our event took us away from the house most of our stay but I wish we had more time to explore grounds and local area. Kids had fun playing around the outside of the house and seeing some mule deer. Overall excellent place to stay.

Canyon Chalet

This home is attractive and perfect for a family reunion. We spent four weeks there and appreciated the peaceful canyon setting while we were still close enough to town for easy trips to the grocery store. The house is especially well equipped to entertain young children, with building blocks and other toys inside and a large playground area outside. The owners are helpful and we hope to stay there again.

Amazed by the Tulikivi

Our anniversary trip was made even more special because we chose to stay at the lodge. Its location was close to downtown Logan for good eats and Beaver Mountain for snowboarding but felt like we were staying at a country retreat with little traffic noise. We enjoyed watching and listening to the turkeys roam the property in the mornings and mule deer greeted us as we drove through the neighborhood. The Tulikivi stove/fireplace was so amazingly cozy it was hard to tell that snow was falling outside! Tom was available no matter the hour and his directions were better than any app ) We'd definitely return to and highly recommend the lodge for a stay in Smithfield. Mahalo nui loa Tom!

Amazing!

What a great place to stay! It felt so secluded but close enough to town that we were busy everyday with fun activities. We loved the DVDs and games that were provided and always had fun walking down to the creek! We also loved watching the doe and her fawn walk through the trees every morning. Everything came together to make the perfect trip for us! Wonderful property!

Gorgeous Home and Landscape

This home was Gorgeous and in a beautiful location. Everything was immaculate and the owners provide everything you need to make this a home away from home. We enjoyed movies on the projector and a fire in the beautiful stone fireplace. We even had a family of deer visit us while playing a game of PIG on the basketball court. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We loved it and will be visiting again!

A fun place for family to relax

We had a short weekend trip to the property and had a great time. We played basketball, card games and cooked up a great breakfast. We even ordered Doordash one of the nights because we didn't want to cook. The property feels secluded because of it's size and trees, but it is close enough to town to get food. It is also only an hour to Garden City, which made it easy to spend a day at Bear Lake and then drive back and relax. We would definitely stay here again.

Hidden Gem

This property is amazing. It's tucked away in a beautiful canyon so it feels nice and secluded, yet it's close to town. The property is fantastic with lots of trees. It's very peaceful. The house itself was great, too. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed using the projector screen to watch movies every night. We would definitely stay at this property again!
