Comfort Inn is really the only place in Carleton place that is worth it IMHO. Plenty of AirB&B's but they are very expensive and unreliably cleaned. Comfort Inn only gets 3 stars because It's nothing special, but it IS always clean, usually quiet, and conveniently located for activities in Ottawa as well as the surrounding area. It's a good home base if you're doing more than just visiting Ottawa.

The staff was friendly and useful. The place clean and quiet. I had breakfast at 8:15 and the food was luke warm. I was earlier the next day and it was fine. Wooden utensils don't make the cut.

The room was clean and comfy. Breakfast had a great selection and was fresh. Great pillows and water pressure. However, snow build up against stairwell exits on exterior of building preventing opening of fire exits in emergency. Considering we were staying on the second floor and hotel had families for a hockey tournament it was a huge safety issue. There was also a case of beer right in front of the main doors from the parents drinking on the couch despite there being posted rules about alcohol in public areas.

Nice hotel for a comfortable stay

A nice, clean and comfortable hotel. We only stayed for 2 nights but I would gladly stay again. The beds are comfy, the room is clean and the location is good.
