"This property exceeded my expectations. The host communicated all necessary information very clearly and stayed in touch throughout our stay. The location was convenient for our needs. We planned to prepare most meals on-site and the kitchen was well stocked to accommodate our plans. My adult son traveled with me, and he commented that he could live in a house like the Carrie Tucker Cottage!"

"We had a wonderful stay in this charming cabin. It was fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and the hot tub and privacy made it extra special. Our dogs loved the outdoors and hanging out on the deck watching the cows grazing across the river. "

"Our family (plus our dog, Piper Rose) spent a week at the Hilltop and loved our time. We wanted a place to relax and just be a family. This was a great, quiet place where we found rest and relaxation. The kitchen was stocked with many things for us to use. They even had a large and small crockpot which I normally don't find in other places. The hot tub was amazing as was our porch time and fire pit time. Communication with the host was amazing and I so appreciated the quick responses to questions or offerings in the area available. If we are able to come back we would love to try one of the float trips! Overall - an excellent stay!This is a very pet friendly place (which was great), however one thing to note (not negative - but might be helpful to others) is that there are A LOT of other dogs that come up to the property. That was our only downside was that our dog is not one that likes other pets and the neighbors allow their dogs to roam freely and at any given time there were up to 5 dogs on the porch or up on the property if they saw us outside or heard us. That made it hard for our dog to be able to enjoy the outside with us. Those dogs were very nice and again - not the owners fault - but just know that if you have a pet that isn't one that likes other pets then you have to be very mindful of when your pet is outside."

"Great location and clean. However, we had incorrect check in information and had to wait for the host to unlock the door to let us in. There was no remote or instructions for the fireplace. There was no cold water in the small bathroom. We also had no hot water for the shower or the hot tub. The hosts did come and attempt to fix the problem but were unsuccessful. If you drink coffee, bring your own. There is a coffee maker but no coffee. We were refunded 90 but that was less than 1/2 of what we paid for the evening. Left without a shower and disappointed. "

"This property was especially clean for a pet friendly rental! Very spacious for fixe adults, quiet neighborhood, beautiful view of the lake and excellent communication with property managers. Would definitely stay here again! "

"The property was very charming, property owner was very nice, however I was mislead by a few details from the pictures..There are ppl living next door and the run up and down the only driveway access, parking was not very good due to blocking their way in & out. The house was pretty clean for its age. The yard was very grown up, the only way in was through a set of steep stairs which was not mentioned, glad I didn't have anyone disabled with us. Some light bulbs did not work, the bathroom faucet needs repair, and kitchen ceiling fan needs repair. Other than that I have no complaints. Just needs sprucing up for the money they charge is not the same price as listed on VRBO.."
