"This was our second stay at The Hideaway. It is a perfect place to relax. It is peaceful and quiet. The air is clean and the water is delicious. The Hideaway is very clean and very well maintained. The large loft is cozy and comfortable. Bathroom and shower are very clean. The kitchen is very clean and has everything that you need to cook with. The hosts are wonderful. The property is beautiful and big enough to wander around and watch the deer, rabbits, squirrels and many birds. Absolutely 10 out of 10!!! Definitely want to visit again as it is a perfect getaway!"

"This property has a beautiful view of the mountains and is located in very peaceful area. We were able to have a very enjoyable weekend, visiting the Great Sand Dunes and Zapata Falls. When we returned to the property, our family was able to sit back, eat dinner and relax without being on top of each other. The owner was very reseptive and commincation between us was easy from the time I booked, all the way to the end. I would definitely recommend this property and I look forward to maybe coming back again."

"The cabin is as beautifully situated as it appears in the photos; there are neighbors, but not too close to impinge on one's privacy. The cabin is not gigantic (perfect for the two of us - but if you have a larger group, keep in mind that anyone sleeping in the loft bedroom will be hearing everything that goes on in the kitchen and living room). I was pleasantly surprised by the high-end appliances - particularly the stove, which featured an indoor grill that actually succeeded in NOT smoking up the entire house. Charley was attentive and helpful, and gave me great tips on the stargazing that was the focus of my trip. In short, we loved the place, the area and the trip."
"This was the coolest property I have ever stayed. The location is so private. Fenced area for dogs to run. Perfectly stocked. Property manager and owner were great. I don’t have a negative thing to stay. We love going to Westcliffe to hike and this property was an hour and ten from the Springs. If it’s available, we will return only to this property in the future. Thank you! "

"This was a great place to meet family and enjoy the amazing Sangre de Cristo views and Westcliffe. The property was ideal for a getaway with my elderly parents and our dog. The 1-level home with an entryway ramp and master walk in shower with room for a seat were elder-friendly. The paved neighborhood streets with epic mountain views made for many enjoyable dog walks. The lush lawn and mature trees make this property an oasis in this neighborhood with plenty of space between homes. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the living room with 3 reclining seats was very cozy for relaxing together. There was even a medium size wire kennel with blankets and a bowl for our dog. The king bed is softer than the 2 very firm queen beds. Plenty of pillows to choose from to meet your preference. The duvets are a nice touch of luxury. Would stay here again. "
"The cabin was in great shape. The seating was just right; especially the reading area. The king bed provided a restful sleep. We spent time on the deck watching the hummingbirds and the occasional parade of wild turkeys through the meadow. We also took advantage of the nearby rainbow trail for hiking. Our stay was exactly what we had hoped it would be. Looking forward to a return visit."
"We were very impressed with the amenities. Great getaway close to local flare! Side note: bring some type of air freshner; i.e. plug in, spray. No fault to the hosts. You will be staying in a mountain town so critters(skunks) make themselves known. "
