Beautiful location for ocean views and intracoastal sunsets!

The property was beautiful in all directions looking from the decks. The inside of the home was dated the perfect mix of beach but high quality. The home was in the perfect location, across the road to the beach and with the private pool. The kitchen was stocked with more things then we knew what to do with!!! It was a perfect home for my extended family and all of our children. When we arrived there were ants on the wall near the spice cabinet. The rain had been continuous the last week weeks so that’s not unusual. They were in the spice cabinet and counter near by as well. I call the management company within an hour of checking in to let them know. They said they drop off ant traps and hopefully have a pest control person by the next day. No one dropped of traps, I bought them myself. The next day a pest control gentlemen put bait traps all over. This made ants from all over the island come to our house. I’ve never seen so many ants going in and out of a tiny hole down the wal, back up and the wall. It was disgusting. We moved all of our food off the counters. That night, and a few nights randomly we had one who stayed in the bedroom off the kitchen said he had ants crawling on him while sleeping. My daughter slep in the living room with her cousins and had ants crawling on her to the point of then needing to wash the blanket. 2 days later when they were as bad as they’ve ever been, I called the management company. They sent yet another pest company. He came and instead of baiting them where the first did, baited where they were coming from outside. There were thousands of ants on the wall in the kitchen but probably a million marching up and down one of the the stilts under the hous and under the kitchen. The next day I go in my 6 month old 2017 Dodge Durango and I saw at least a thousand ants climbing up the car and trying to get in through the seal in the door. You could see the marching line down the driveway from the stil all the way towards the street and right to my car. I had to have a car detailed clean it. It was a week after the beach I continued to have ants crawl on my arm until it finally stopped. It was until the last 2 days the ants lessened. This was so unfortunate to have to deal with. My issues: right off the bat when the cleaning crew came in to turn the house over the Saturday we were arriving would have been the time to “bomb the house” which was getting done after we lefft. It had to be a prob for the previous renters

Great place to stay!

Very nice, spacious house! With a nice pool and the beach a short walk across the street, it was the perfect location!!
