PLEASE NOTE that Mountain Lodge's interior common areas will be under renovation between March 31 - November 26, 2025. While this may result in some construction noise and dust, it won't affect the comfort of your stay at Mountain Lodge 231. Escape to Mountain Lodge Unit 231, a cozy retreat in the heart of Snowshoe, WV! Perfectly located just steps from the slopes and Village, this inviting condo sleeps four, has a fully-equipped kitchen, and comfortable sleeping arrangements. Relax in the cozy living area or enjoy the lodge's convenient amenities, including ski storage, an arcade, a skating rink, pool table and parking. Whether you're here for outdoor adventures or a peaceful getaway, this unit provides the perfect home base!

The lodge is outdated and drab. The room is carpeted and dated. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but ok. TV wasn’t a smart tv just had a dvd player. No pot holders in the kitchen. No salt/pepper- just the basic kitchen cookware. Bedroom with a window to the hallway is odd- and contributed to the ski boot clomping and kids or loud talkers in the hallway. The biggest pet peeve is The lodge blocked the restrooms for the kids in ski school so there is no where to change to go ski if arriving early or on your last day. After driving 9 hours and arriving early it would have been nice to have a bathroom. The lobby has a fireplace but never was lit bc it wasn’t cold enough (it was 20° and the door was propped open to the outside). If the lodge and the rooms were updated it would be a great stay simply because of location but I’m afraid this place is bottom of the barrel.
