“My husband and I were attending a concert @Bethel Woods and needed a place for the night. We usually plan a lot better but, it was a last minute trip. The hotels in the area were booked solid or $400+ for the night. No thanks. The distance was over 20 miles, but it beat the 2+hour ride home after a long day. “I love hotel Wayne for its historical character, its distance to everything honesdale, and having the restaurant & bar downstairs with Paulies food directly behind it. The 2 bedroom apartment is over the wine room which is nice since it’s a private (and only 1 ) stairway. While there’s limited hotel accommodations, this one will give you everything you need. I will always upgrade from the standard room (which I’ve stayed in - there’s a reason for upgrading !)”
