"Swimming in the river was the best part of the trip. Bring your water shoes; there are rocks and I almost lost my sandals three times . Bring an extra fan for the tent. If you are in a tent; bring a portable umbrella for the outside. Our bench was not covered by the trees most of the day and the sun was strong. It is hot in the tent during the summer; that’s when you go swimming or hiking during the day. We recommend going to riverfront park trail; it’s an easy hike 20 mins drive from wildheaven. And it is beautiful there. Oh bring a hoodie for the night time; it gets cold at night. Hot days and cold nights in the summer."

"I would have given this property 5 stars, but a few things really needed attention or more detail in the listing. There is no closet to use in the Primary Suite. We stayed for a week and brought nice clothes to go to the great restaurants there in Healdsburg, BUT - there was no place to hang them at all! You can see that there is a closet, but it is locked off, which is fine, but there should be some place in a Primary Suite to hang clothes! We traveled with a friend who used the second bedroom, which has a tiny closet - but only 3 hangers, so we couldn't try to hang up dresses or nice shirts, because she also needed to hang things. The property is nice and quiet, we enjoyed the cool nights and days in the 70's. But the front porch is very hard to get to, and the furniture was unusable. Also, our flight was delayed, and we didn't arrive at the property until 2 am - there were no lights on anywhere - and with so many steps up to the property, it was dangerous with no lighting. I know there are lights, but they are on a timer. May I suggest keeping one light to stay on longer, so it isn't so difficult with luggage in the dark? A few more pillows would be nice too - the ones there were flat when you put your head on them. I don't want to be nitpicky, but we travel a lot, and I own a VRBO property, and I appreciate being able to stay there, but I would not go to that property again for the reasons above. I gave it 4 stars becasue it is a beautiful home, not comfortabe"

"Great place to stay. Beautiful property on the river and close to everything Healdsburg. Parking was nice with enough space for two cars behind the gates. EV charger was a plus. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. Great for a family vacation."

"Everything about our stay was perfect! The house was incredible - from the outdoor kitchen and pool, to the comfortable sleeping spaces, and fully stocked kitchen - all made for the best weekend with friends! It is in an ideal location for wine tasting and going out downtown. Cannot wait to come back!"

"House was great, clean and very well stocked. The only caution I would suggest is that the 3 bedrooms were not air conditioned, so if you visit in the heat of the summer it might be warm. Our evenings were in the 60’s so it was fine, but much warmer would be a challenge."

"This place is a 10 in my book. It had everything. Very quiet and well-appointed, almost spa like. The host was very accommodating even providing snacks and essentials in the kitchen. The location is within a 10-minute drive of Healdsburg which includes several fabulous restaurants and great shopping. Vineyards are also a reasonable drive from the guest suite. If you want to be pampered, this is the place to stay."
