"The property is down a short track with two other properties. These are well spaced out and grounds cleverly divided with trees and bushes to form private areas. The grounds slope down to the lake which is a couple of minutes walk and has a small boat dock. If you hire a boat you have a key for the boat padlock, battery and tiller. "Wir kamen an und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Der Rasen vor dem Haus war frisch gemäht, im Haus war alles vorhanden was man erwartet und noch vieles mehr. Sogar ein Raclette Grill stand zur Verfügung. Von dem Haus geht ein, doch relativ steiler Weg hinunter zum See. Vorbei an einem Spielplatz mit Schaukel, Wippe, Rutsche, Trampolin und Seilrutsche. "The house and extensive grounds are very well maintained by the owners. It is very well equipped indeed.Communication with Christiane, the host, was excellent and it was nice to meet her and her husband briefly during our stay.We found it an ideal location to explore the region of Värmland including hiking, visiting art galleries and houses/gardens. We also enjoyed a few local specialty restaurants nearby and found a smokehouse near Karlstad.The canoe enabled us to explore the lake shore especially when conditions are fairly calm heading to Gräsmark and sandy beaches.Our stay met our expectations and exceeded them in many instances."
