“Very clean room and lovely hosts. AMAZING breakfast!!! Beautiful location in nature with lots of animals to wake you early in the morning. The one stressor I had during my visit is that I am scared of spiders, and some big ones got into the room after I did. Yashodara handled this amazingly. She got them out, gave me a bug spray, and provided me with her phone number in case the spiders disturbed me in the night. (They didn't.) Definitely a nice place to stay in Habarana! Note on getting……

“Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely.”

“Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. Disappointed after Covid there is no spa/massage option as that would have been perfect. Stayed in a large room with separate room with door. 2 adults, 3 teens. Teens……

“Sunaqua is located at the wrong end of Pasikudah beach. The beach in front of the hotel is too shallow and rocky for swimming. you can walk to the public beach to swimming however the public beach is busy during weekend. Other than that, the hotel itself is pretty good. It even provides ladies sanitary items which comes very handy and this shows hotel's attention to detail. ”

“We had such a wonderful experience here. The resort is beautiful, perfectly maintained, and truly an oasis of peace and calm. Our room was delightful and very clean, with a large comfortable bed, quiet air conditioning, and a lovely bathroom with an excellent rainfall shower. The food was absolutely delicious, with plenty of choice. But the very best part of our stay was the people. Just before our arrival, our tuk-tuk was involved in an accident and needed repairs. Petit déjeuner monumental qui compense la quasi absence de wi fi....Jardin idéal pour tout amoureux de nature et des oiseaux,des écureuils et des singes (vite chassés par le propriétaire)...Repas sur mesure,non épicé et végétarien et à un prix imbattable.... 400 roupies par personne et je vous défie de tout finir.... Copieux ou plutôt Gargantuesque est le mot....Vélo ancien mais acceptable pour ce prix 350 roupies...Le propriétaire est aussi……

“Séjour reposant dans un cadre calme avec une belle chambre et une piscine. Un service appréciable à toute heure de la journée et aux petits soins. Hotel, facile d’accès, cependant si vous n’avez pas le chauffeur privé, il peut être difficile de trouver un tuktuk pour la nuit du aux éléphants dans cette zone.”

“We loved Passi Villas- it’s very quiet, pool was great and food was great. We had half board with fresh pastries fruit and eggs for breakfast and for dinner a 3-4 course meal- I had the fish every night which was different daily The management leave you alone and you have the manager’s phone number if you need anything urgently. In the morning I would talk to the chef about what we would like for dinner- so very personal service. If you don’t like peace and quiet then you won’t like this place-……
