「My husband and I spent a week in Texas with Rockin' Star Ranch being our last, and by far, favorite spot! Darrell was very easy to communicate with prior to our arrival, as well as throughout our stay. He went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met and was always available to answer questions. We decided to book a horse riding outing for our final day, which is not something I was planning on doing, and Darrell was so gracious that when I told him I didn't have boots with me he found...

「The property is pretty private and about 5 mins from the water and 5 mins from a Dollar General. The pool wasn’t very clean but the property and house were fine. The gas grill in the pictures is no longer there - it’s a smaller charcoal pit. And the pool net in the same picture is no longer there. 」

「We are only 2 hours away from Rockin Star, but this was just far enough to get out of the city & enjoy the quiet & slower pace of the hill country. We enjoyed the pool each evening & it was very relaxing. Darrell Sr & Jr were super friendly & helpful with the ins & outs of the property, and Darrell Sr showed us around the property. We were just there for a weekend getaway, but it’s a great place for a family reunion or wedding. 」

「My wife and I like to stay out away from Bryan/College Station when attending TAMU football games to avoid the traffic and crowds. The Cottage is in a nice location in the country. Great views f4om the front porch. Super clean and a really comfortable bed. Also, the owners are a pleasure to deal with. We will be back next season.」
