Great spot to access wine country
We had a party of 11 and the space was great. We toured both Napa and Sonoma wineries and found the location perfect to access both. (Napa further away obviously). Great outdoor space.

Disappointing Stay - Unable to use Pool or Hot Tub
The home itself was very accommodating for the value. We were unable to use the nice amenities like the hot tub due to a large amount of chlorine that appeared to be recently put in the tub - we couldn’t breathe from the fumes. We also couldn’t use the entirety of the pool because the cleaning equipment was left in and took up half of the space. Finally, during our last stay, what appeared to be due to remote control from the owner, it was 88 degrees in the home most of the day and night. It never cooled off, making it unbearable to be in the home. All in all, it’s a nice place to stay if better attention would have been given to the property.

Sonoma Family Gathering
Our Maryland family gathered in Sonoma for a mini vacation following a family wedding in Berkeley. This home was perfect! The size and layout worked well for our large family and the backyard with pool, hot tub and lounging areas was great for relaxing and catching up with each other. The location was convenient for touring both Napa and Sonoma. Highly recommend!

Perfect girls getaway!
We had a wonderful time at this property. Super well equipped kitchen complete with spices and good knives (iykyk). Each bedroom was perfect for our 6 person girls getaway. The back area was an oasis. It even had peach and plum trees! Thank you for a comfortable stay.

Great for a large group!
My large group had a lovely long weekend here! The many bedrooms and bathrooms left us own our spaces, while still having a great living room and kitchen for gathering. We loved lounging in the backyard by the pool. It’s also an easy drive to downtown Sonoma and wineries. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful large home for a girl’s trip!
My 5 girlfriends and I stayed at Tom’s beautiful home in Sonoma for our Napa/Sonoma trip. The home is perfect for 6 gals, and I’d imagine for 6 couples as well. Unfortunately, it was too cold to use the pool, and the hot tub was on the fritz while we were there, but Tom was very communicative and offered to make up for it. We still managed to make good use of the grill and fire pit area! The kitchen is well-stocked, including coffee for the morning. The bathrooms are also well-prepped with everything you need, including makeup washcloths. Would highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic House with Fabulous Location
We did a girls weekend with 9 friends and it was the perfect spot! Plenty of beds and just enough bathrooms. The hot tub was definitely a plus but the real draw for us was the central location. Checkin was super easy and closing wasn’t excessive list. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Couples Getaway!

What an experience
It was a crazy 18 month ride of booking this stay, needing to postpone for a year, and then making the trip out to Sonoma this past weekend. Tom was incredibly kind and flexible at every step. The house was perfect for our group, and is conveniently located a short drive from the square in Sonoma. I can't recommend this place enough, what a great experience we had.

Thomas was very accommodating and helpful throughout the trip. He was gracious to extend the limit from 12 to 14 so that our families could all stay together and have a nice little getaway weekend from current events. There were family games, pool floats and plenty of towels, which we appreciated, and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking up meals. Great place!
I rented this place with a group of family of friends for a long weekend. It was the perfect house for our large group. Clean, comfortable, nice location, and such a great backyard. Thomas, our host, was very helpful in sharing updates while there were some weather and power related concerns happening in the surrounding county right before our visit. He kept us posted almost daily, which was a great relief. Thankfully things went without a hitch and we very much enjoyed our visit to Sonoma and Napa.

Perfect Girls Weekend
This house was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend. There was plenty of space with a bed for each of us. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for hanging out and chatting in the evening. The home is decorated lovely, so cozy and charming. The location is also excellent, close and convenient to Sonoma Plaza with several restaurants and wineries. Tom was very accessible and easy to communicate with, though everything was perfectly appointed, and we had no unexpected needs arise.

GREAT spot for wine tours
If you are bringing your family to wine country, this is an amazing location for your stay. Less than 30min drive from some of the best wineries in the valley. Napa is a short trip as well. Don't come here expecting to burn the midnight oil or run a beer pong competition though, some strict evening noise ordnances in the town... Still a great for your relaxing getaway! We will come back again for sure!

I just celebrated my 40th birthday in Sonoma and this house was perfect for our needs. Thomas was super responsive and the house was the perfect size for our needs. The noise ordinance is not hard to abide by. We had a large group and were definitely celebrating. We went indoors at 10pm and continued to talk and laugh and we had zero issues. I would definitely recommend staying here and we will likely book this house again next year!

The property net our needs of a 10 person group. The owner lived on property while we were there which is weird. There is a rule book larger than the Koran with fees listed for everything ever imagined. Felt like we were 17 year olds that had a bad reputation already. Overall we would not rent here next time.

I am sorry you felt that way. I always go out of my way to make sure every guest/group feels welcome. My reviews show that. So you probably felt this way because Home Away needed to reach out to you directly in order to get you to communicate with us. We didn't receive even one response from you in the 6 months leading up to your arrival. You may want work on your communication with other hosts. Even responding with a simple message will facilitate good standing and probably help you feel better about your next visit. On my end, I was always polite and welcoming in all my messages/responses. After this guest checked in I flew to Denver to visit family so I am not sure what they are referring to. I wasn’t even in town during their stay. Although, my listing does inform guests of a separate and private area on my property that is accessed by a family member or myself at times (Treating the hot tub, pool and checking mail). This should not have been a surprise. I do not know what you are referring to. I leave instructions on the table with information on how to use items in my home like TV, Wifi, fire pit and hot tub. So unless the Koran has been significantly revised or made into Cliff's Notes my two pages of instructions, single sided, size 12 font doesn’t come even close. I do have a price sheet for excessive breakage. At the top it Reads “We are relaxed and understand that accidents happen from time to time. We do not worry about incidental breakage…” Then we do list items and their cost in case of excessive loss. I apologize if this offended you. I looked past some of the issues which is why I rated you as high as I did.
