Lovely home

Vintage Sonoma Cottage
Fabulous cottage. Light and airy with all the modern conveniences we could ask for. An easy walk from the Sonoma Plaza, restaurants, Whole Foods and shopping. Can’t wait to stay here again.

Perfect location and cottage!
Great central location for us to watch our daughter play lacrosse at Cal Berkeley and UC Davis, visit friends in Glen Ellen, and enjoy Sonoma and wine country. Very clean and comfortable cottage!

Adorable place in the heart of Sonoma
We loved our stay here! Such a cute place- we loved the decor and all the little touches. All the bedrooms are upstairs so I recommend packing lightly! We were able to walk into town to shop and eat which was great! Couldn’t recommend this place more

Nice and cute
All good. We’d suggest placing anti skid tape on lip of each stairwell step. They are slippery in socks, and it’s also hard to see each step edge. Front steps also icy/slippery in am. I don’t know if anti skid tape would help.

Wonderful!
Our sorority group has done an annual trip for last 10 years and this year Sonoma was our destination. This home is in the perfect spot-walking distance to everything and a short drive to the wineries we wanted to visit. Home is cute and very clean. Would 100% stay here again.

Wine Getaway
This was the perfect house for our girls trip. We were celebrating my mothers 60th birthday. We had five ladies with us and there was more than enough space. The house was the perfect location. We had a short walk to the center and a bike shop right around the corner. We will definitely be back!

Right across the street from the church. Just a wonderful location. Never needed a car. Short walk to the plaza and restaurants. Beautifully furnished and well stocked kitchen. Great 4 day visit.

Darling cottage
We had a great time at the cottage. The owners were very responsive and we experienced no issues during our stay. The cottage is well-maintained and beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and the location was just a short walk to the plaza. I would definitely stay again. The only drawbacks are the lack of laundry facilities and the fact that it backs up to a business parking lot. The fence is high enough to block that out and the outdoor patio is very cute. Unfortunately, a truck is parked right up against the back gate so you can see the top of the truck if you face in that direction.

Thank you so much for your kind review. We do ask our prospective guests to read fully about our property prior to booking -- including amenities, along with our rental agreement. This way, you would have known that we are unable offer laundry facilities due to our permit restrictions. We are happy that you were able to use the alternative recommendations we suggested for laundry service. And yes, because we are a downtown property, we do have neighbors boarding our sides and back. They are all very friendly and sometimes park their vehicles where you can see them. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Great location
We stayed in this cottage for a short leadership retreat. It was the perfect location- we parked our cars and didn't have to drive once while we were there. Easy walk to the square, Whole Foods, and many restaurants. The neighborhood is very quiet during the week, and we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was perfect! Walkable to every restaurant we wanted, fully stocked kitchen (there was even a bottle of sparkling waiting for us in the fridge with chilled glasses!) the house set up was perfect! Our only complaint is that it was too chilly outside to enjoy the perfect patio :) 10/10 would recommend and 10/10 would stay again!

Look no further, reserve this house for your Sonoma stay!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The house was very clean and was stocked with everything we could need. The communication with the owner was quick and helpful - we asked for winery and restaurant recommendations and loved her picks. We walked to Sonoma Plaza every evening and enjoyed the local sights and eateries. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Weekend In Wine Country
Our group loved everything about this cozy and charming home! It was perfect for our girls' weekend! The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked, and was within just a few blocks of shops, restaurants, tasting rooms, and hiking. Liz checked in with us multiple times before and during our stay to make sure that we were comfortable, and to see if we needed anything. We would definitely recommend this property to others. It will be first on our list the next time we visit Sonoma!

Great Getaway
We did enjoy the Sonoma Vintage Cottage immensely. The home was just as promised: clean comfortable and charming! And equipped with everything you need. We were visiting on a rainy weekend and there were umbrellas which we were very thankful for. The beds were very comfortable and the linens nice. Really we have nothing bad to say. The house is charmingvery clean and the kitchen well stocked. My wife enjoyed the large bathroom tub in the primary bathroom. . We had a concern that the water wasn't hot enough, and the owner came immediately to turn up the temperature. The location iis within walking distance to downtown Sonoma. We would definitely stay there again again.

Fabulous place!
This a a lovely property. Beautiful house in a great area that is within walking distance to the town center. Also for wine lovers there are a ton of tasting rooms & wineries close by. The back porch at the house was awesome!

We chose this house for the location. Easy walking to the square in Sonoma Our door code malfunctioned and management sent the new code immediately. House was quaint and well stocked. All bedrooms were on the upper floors and quite comfortable. Enjoyed the patio in the evening. Would definitely recommend.

A lovely stay in a perfect spot
We decided to come to Sonoma on our way back from Maui to the east coast. We loved the chill vibes of the home and all of the simple and tasteful ways that made our stay so relaxing. We grilled at night after going to wineries during the day and very much enjoyed the back yard area that comfortably fit all 6 of us. I would highly recommend these owners and this property!

Charming Cottage!
Precious cottage right near the square! Owners were so nice and easy to work with. They even had a bottle of champagne waiting for us in the fridge! Downstairs has a great layout and good backyard area. The bunkroom is on the smaller side but the other rooms were spacious. I would definitely recommend the property!

Wine Stay
This home is accurately pictured and had great information and a complimentary bottle of wine which was so sweet. Our host was waiting for us upon arrival to let us know about trash, it would have been preferred if it was communicated through the app rather then in person. Thankfully we were with our husbands but if I was traveling with only females I would have not stopped at the residence with a male sitting outside waiting. It was all harmless but just advice to the host! The beds were extremely hard and and uncomfortable. I even tried moving to the twin one night and that was also hard. An fyi the church across the streets bell rings every hour starting at 7am so if you’re not early risers this could be annoying. The house was very clean and we enjoyed the backyard to eat dinner one night!

Kelsey, thank you for your feedback and comments. On the date you checked-in where you found Dave at the house, you had arrived well before the check-in time listed on our house instructions (3PM), which is why you found Dave getting the house ready for you. Most of our guests appreciate meeting us in person, especially when we are going out of our way to relay important information about your stay. (BTW, Sonoma is a very safe spot, and we have never had one incident involving strangers lurking near the house.) Our house instructions also mention that, if you find anything uncomfortable to please let us know right away -- we would have been happy to address your discomfort with the beds you reported. If you had read the house instructions, we did ask not only that you reach out to us, but that you kindly not attempt to move our furniture, including the bedding. Our house cleaner had found the house in more disarray than the "normal" guest, and notated several towels and hand towels that were stained and ruined, even though we provide make up remover pads and black wash towels. Most of our guests find the church bells charming -- we are in a downtown location near a historical church, and have little control with the timing of the bells ringing.

Beautiful home with an incredible location!
We went on a Mom's trip and stayed at Kathy and David's beautiful house. It is wonderfully appointed and full of surprise amenities such as make up wipes, cosmetic wipes, soaking salts for the tub, K-cups for the coffee maker (my friend was thrilled to see there was even decaf) and body wash. It was nice to go to a home and not immediately have to run to the store for basic supplies. We were greeted with a welcome card, local maps and a lovely bottle of chilled sparkling rose to kick off our trip! There is a grill and a lovely patio area where we enjoyed a bottle of wine and charcuterie. We do wish we had access to the washer & dryer which was located in the garage. I didn't even think to check under "amenities" before renting as I have never had a home not offer access to the washer and dryer. This was tough, as we had packed carry on luggage with minimal packing thinking we would wash our clothes there. Overall a great property, with great communication from the owners (as within the hour) and we had a great stay!

Beautiful Cottage!
My daughters and I stayed here for our wine country weekend. The home was beautiful, clean and was in the perfect location. Easy to walk to shops and dinner and a short drive to both Sonoma and Napa wineries. Kathy and Dave were the perfect hosts!

Thank you Angie, you were great guests. As I explained, our washer and dryer are in a non-permitted area of the house and unfortunately are not accessible to guests. We hope the laundry service that we recommended worked for you. It is conveniently located just a few blocks from the house and they do a wonderful wash and dry service for a very reasonable fee.
