The bed only had one thin blanket and no comforter. The window AC/heat was marginal at best for the night. The floors are noticeably tilting as you walk through the hall and the room. What can I say, You get what you pay for.

This was an ok hotel. I was looking forward to a stay at a historic hotel but it really was like 1880s and not in a good way. The bed felt it was made of cardboard and we couldn’t find the thermostat until the morning so the room was freezing all night. Also, too small. Not rustic charm, truth is maintenance just not performed. Windows broken (won't start open and won't completely shut). Bathroom sink water faucet and shower run (won't shut off) and diversion valve for shower broken so more water flows to tub than shower head. Tub and sink old and stained, carpet worn, towels and sheets are well beyond their service life. "Upgraded City View" room is on the street with windows that don't seal making the noise defining - and there's no "view" because the windows are so dirty you don't need to use the drapes for privacy. Overall, a bargain $50 motel chain provides a similar experience. One positive point, staff very polite.

This is an older hotel, it was very clean and we enjoyed our stay very much, but there are some inconveniences because of it being an older building. The parking is across the street from the main hotel, and our room was surprisingly tiny with a king bed, but that is more to let people know, it didn’t bother us. The only actual thing I would have liked to see different was to add a garbage bin to the room or have some larger bins available somewhere in the hotel. One small bin in the bathroom is not enough, especially if you do not otherwise need your room cleaned daily.

The hotel itself is amazing, super cool history and comfortable beds with very cold rooms and a free breakfast. I loved my stay here! Only downside is loud motorcycles/cars that go down main street, but that isn’t really Sonora inns fault. It stopped pretty consistently around 10-11pm though :)

Wir wurden von einer wirklich, sehr netten, sehr höflichen und sehr hilfsbereiten Dame empfangen. Mir ist wichtig, dass diese Kritik ausschließlich dem Motel zuzuweisen ist und nicht dieser netten Dame. Unser Zimmer war für zwei Erwachsene, zwei Kinder mit Koffern viel zu klein. Es war unerträglich warm im Motel und die klimageräte waren unerträglich laut und haben nur sehr kläglich gekühlt. Ohne diese Dinger musste man jedoch befürchten einen Hitzschlag in der Nacht zu bekommen. Dafür konnte man dann wegen des lärmenden getöeses nicht schlafen. Die Fensterscheibe war reine Zierde denn man hatte das Gefühl als würde man auf dem Bordstein schlafen. So laut war es. Wir hatten für zwei Nächte gebucht, sind aber nach der ersten Nacht abgereist weil es unverantwortlich gewesen wäre für meine Kinder, dort noch eine Nacht zu verbringen. Ich kann die 8,0 als Bewertung überhaupt nicht verstehen. Die Fotos sehen um Welten besser aus, als es in Wirklichkeit ist.
