Beautiful Escape on the Water

What a wonderful house! this is right on Santa Martha Bay with unobstructed views of all the water. 2 bedroom, 2 full bath with a private pool overlooking the ocean. Full kitchen with outdoor grill as well. It's on the West side of Curaçao (quiet side) with numerous beaches just a short trip away, but it might be a hard decision to leave this relaxing property. This was solid 5 out of 5 stars - the pics don't really do it justice.

What a View!

As others have said, this VRBO offers the best view on Curaçao. It is absolutely stunning, and we couldn’t wait to enjoy the deck early morning and evening, appreciating the warm, lovely breeze. During the day when the deck was too warm, we moved to the Palapa, and enjoyed the breeze and the pool. We found the best snorkeling on the island at the beach just down the road. Best grocery shopping was at Centrum on outskirts of Williamstad. The host’s local representative was responsive to our needs. In short, just a wonderful stay.

Overall our stay was great. the pool was small but fine for the two of us. down side, hot water was lacking, grill didn't work, washer was a changle, trash was best keep out on the deck to advoid fruit flys and don't feed the iguanas from your hand. Upside, the view was fantastic, the sitting area under the outside roof was amazing. Walking to the beach was too long, take your car! A quite and relaxing home.

What a VIEW!

What a view! The outdoor space with the pool and the grill was awesome! We ate in a lot of meals in underneath the palapa. The Centrum supermarket had everything we needed for our two week stay. Our host was awesome! He met us and went over the house and gave us helpful hints. Then we saw him when we checked out. We did not need him for anything else, but he was available if needed.We love the remote location, but we ventured out every day to explore the island. A different beach every day and then back to this awesome house. Pure relaxation…

Best location on the island

This is a great vacation rental. The location is private, quiet, and with gorgeous views. There is easy walking access to a quiet beach and it's an easy drive to evreything Curacao has to offer. The deck and large palapa offer plenty of luxurious outdoor living space and we rotated where we lounged based on the sun and wind. The kitchen is pretty basic but we had no difficulty preparing food and in fact ate dinner in most nights--it is just so pleasant to sit and eat/enjoy cocktails on the deck or in the palapa-we really preferred just staying home. The only things less than perfect was that I expected a washing machine (not really an issue--beach clothes are easy to hand wash and line dry quickly), and we didn't have hot water--also not really an issue. There is air conditioning in the house--we never used it. The airflow through the house even on the hottest days was pleasant and we only needed the fans. There is a cat that will be your friend if you feed it as well as a large iguana that likes fruit that suns himself on the fence below the deck. If we ever return to Curacao, we would without a doubt stay here again--I wouldn't even look at other places. Also, if I ever build a beach house, this is something I would aspire to. Thanks for sharing this lovely spot.

Indeed the best views of all of Curacao

The small house was extremely comfortable. The outside Palapa was huge and unique. Everything that we needed was provided by the owners. The place is ideal for relaxation. A good book is recommendable.
