“The description wotif offered was incorrect. The page describes a distance of 15km from the airport, but the road to get there is 80km (more than an hour by taxi) around the bay. Arriving in the evening there was no choice but to take a cab both ways, costing more than $500. Extremely disappointing webservice x wotif. The room was fine, and the owner very apologetic, telling me he has asked multiple times to see the entry corrected and clarified but the wotif callcentre staff hadn't been able……

“We had a lovely stay out in the bush, in the picturesque Huia Bay. The accommodation was perfect for our needs and exactly as pictured with amenities like a hair dryer, and a microwave that aren’t visible in the original photos.Chanae and her husband were super helpful and welcoming - they provided extra citronella candles and a few different dishes for the kitchen based on my cooking plans. The cabin is set back from the road and from the main house with beautiful foliage all round, a lovely……

“A good value. Location is great for cruisers. If you are lucky, your cruise will depart from Prince Wharf, which is adjacent to the building. Otherwise, Queen Wharf is a little more than 1/4 mile away. The unit was properly equipped with kitchen stuff, plenty of coffee and tea supplies for about 2 to 3 days. “Check-in and out was very awkward- had to pick up and drop off key at a convenience store about 1/2 mile away. Master bathroom shower doors door leaked profusely- had to use all the towels to mop up floor. Corporate manager not real responsive. On plus side, it was very clean and view was good. However, not many eating places or other conveniences nearby.”

“The apartment is very clean and in a great and safe location. Everything you would need in a home away from home was provided, and instructions were very clear. It was easy to walk to the CBD. There are lots of restaurants in the area too. The host was very responsive too. Only cons are 1) The lack of air conditioning. It made for uncomfortable nights. Of the two fans provided, one was very noisy, and the other one designed to help with airflow didn’t seem to do much. 2) The washer and dryer……
