Annually we all get together for a family adventure. This year we picked South Lake Tahoe and this awesome property marked off all the spots. Beautiful view of the lake, step through the slider to the sand of beach and watch my grandchildren play. Can’t wait to come back to this beautiful property and make some more memories

Plenty of room to spread out. The location was great. We could walk out the back door onto the deck with a sandy beach and the lake. I don’t think you could get much closer to the lake. We had an issue with the drain in one bathtub, but that was taken care of immediately. It was perfect for our family get together.

What made this place worth staying at was the amazing view from the living room, dining room and kitchen. Just open the sliding door and you are a few steps onto the beach and at the lake! The decor was simple and comfortable. Not too dated like other places I saw on the website. The decent looking furnishings and Lakefront view was why I chose this one.

View is great and , proximity to the pool. The screen door out to the patio is broken and from previous reviews, been broke for awhile. It Would have been nice to have some air off the lake. Also there is no A/C, did not see it in the listing but in the reviews. We didn’t need it but would be appreciated I’m sure by those who book when it’s hot. Overall great place, views, comfy beds and location

When we first arrived we noticed the photos do not match the actual home.  All of the surfaces were dusty and we had to dust all tables. The main slider screen needs to be replaced. It had many holes and was hard to operate. The entire second bedroom upstairs was pretty much unusable. The window was taped closed and there were no blinds so it was insufferably hot and bright. On the positive side, the view and proximity to the beach was amazing.

Overall the unit was clean and perfect for our group’s stay. There is no AC in the unit which turned out to not be an issue once the unit was opened up and there was airflow off the lake. I would suggest that the listing be updated to highlight that there is no AC as I didn’t realize this when I booked. There were also a few small things that I noticed - the back slider can be difficult to close and lock and the screen is broken. There’s also a window upstairs that does not open at all (and did not have a blind) which is a fire hazard and another window did not have a screen at all. However, they recently redid the downstairs living room and kitchen and it’s nice and airy!

Overall, the place is nice with comfy beds and a lovely view of the lake out your back window. But we faced issue after issue with lack of amenities and unhelpful management, that ultimately warranted the lower rating. Only 3 days before our trip were we informed on ongoing construction which would result in possible parking issues, noise, and our water being shut off. We arrived at 4pm on the dot and were turned away by the cleaning crew, despite Vacasa telling us they would inform us of cleaning delays. We cooked dinner and when it was time to take it out of the oven, there were no oven mitts to be found. I texted Vacasa and they said that was something they don’t provide. So apparently they’d prefer we burn our hands? Then I asked where the salt, pepper, and oil were located as their listing on a different booking site said those would be provided. Vacasa replied and said that was an error and it shouldn’t say that. It’s strange that a place would provide a kitchen filled with all sorts of random things like a rice cooker, electric knife, nice pots (no insulated handles though so you’ll get burned), shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms, but couldn’t be bothered with such basic and inexpensive amenities. Oh and the screen door that was supposedly fixed was actually just sitting on the back porch. We informed Vacasa and they tried to fix it but failed. The gentleman said someone else had claimed to already fixed it, so their miscommunications were responsible.
