Great Location

The property is located right by the lake and has access to the lake. Our stay was comfortable, but beware of the fact that not all units are water facing. The pictures give the impression that the unit is right by the water but it was a little on the inside of the property with no views & it does look dated.. Other than that everything was good.

The property is well located. I really like being on the Lake and near the casinos. The unit needs new furnishings and carpeting. Even with this I would stay there again.

Cute cabin, great location

This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway with our friends. We slept 4 couples and a single so comfortably! It was a great layout and you didn’t feel on top of one another. Living room could use one or two more comfortable seats for the amount of people that can sleep there, but we didn’t spend a lot of time in there as it was the most beautiful weekend outside at Lake Tahoe! It was convenient to the little downtown area with shops and casinos and Ubers or scooters readily available. My only complaint is the A/C didn’t appear to be working, or not well, luckily it got cold at night to help us out. Overall we loved it and had the best time! We will be back for sure.

Stay away

First I would like to say, the location was great! We appreciated being able to use the shuttle service and that we could walk right down to the water or go dip in the pool. What was not great, was the condo itself. Upon our arrival, we noticed either the dishwasher or the refrigerator were leaking (next to each other so wasn’t sure which), and it was extremely hot inside. We adjusted the AC and cleaned up the water with a towel, not a huge deal for us as we’ve stayed in countless properties and have dealt with numerous issues. The issue came when I tried to email the owner/property manager, with zero response until day 3. We arrived on a Friday, and left on a Wednesday, so yeah, would’ve been nice to have a response mostly because they AC never worked. The dryer also didn’t work so we couldn’t wash any clothes or towels, the showers would never drain so it always smelled like mildew, the tv didn’t work, and the wifi didn’t work. The only response I would get would be an automated email saying something like “We hope you are enjoying your stay. Please leave your phone number in case we need to reach out.” I did all of that, was very patient, and still got zero response. We didn’t even get our check-out instructions besides the “check-out by 10am”. And we cleaned up and did what we normally do when leaving a vacation, but finally got an email at 4pm the DAY OF check out on what to do. Stay away from here and anything that says “managed by Vacasa”.

Amazing place for a large family!

This place was amazing for our recent family vacation in South Lake Tahoe! Over the past 15 years we have stayed at several different homes in Lakeland Village- this home was one of the largest/well equipped for the guest size allowed. The rooms and beds were spacious and very comfortable. Plenty of extra blankets and pillows to add if/when needed- and we loved that there were large fans in EVERY bedroom!! (We stayed in the summer- and while the temp was mild having fans at night was amazing) Three full bathrooms was great as well- plenty of towels to use in the home (bath/hand) as well as several to take to the pool! These details are amazing and make it nice to not have to bring quite as much from home! The layout was that you walk in and the ground floor has two of the “solo king bed” rooms as well the room with the 2 queen beds. One king room has an en suite full bathroom and there was a second full bathroom in between the rooms for the other bedrooms. A washer and dryer as well that we had access to. Then up a flight of stairs is the main living room/dining room with large sized table plenty of space for guests! The kitchen (well stocked with plenty of pots and pans for a large sized table group!) then the last “solo king bed” room and another full bathroom. Up one more flight of stairs to the loft with the 2 twin beds. A short walk to the beach- pool area- anything you would want to get to on the property. This was an amazing house and we are definitely keeping it in mind when we book at Lakeland Village again!
