Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, you are only limited one small omelet when they have them available, the scrambled eggs tasted horrible, biscuits were good but the gravy very watery, sausages were okay. Like the beach area were you can sit and watch the ocean from the deck. Our room key we had to have rekeyed every day. Room 423 air conditioner sounded like a jet engine starting up, they finally moved us to a different room. Then they put other people in that room. Really. The shower head in most rooms were like 8 feet up that you couldn't adjust the shower head. Bed was comfy not the pillows. We had shampoo and conditioner in the shower but they didn't replace the body wash bottle or the lotion bottle in the bathroom. Fans in the bathroom was so dirty that you weren't sure if stuff was going to fall down, the toilet didn't flush have the time, because it didn't fill. The bar and grill bar happy hour is a joke. Prices were the same during anytime during the day. Plus, the beer was warm. The gift shop ladies were very nice, friendly and helpful. Coffee shop had great coffee choices. Would give the hotel a 2, but won't be staying there again. Most of the things around the hotel had different names, like Courtyard by Marriott, La Copa Inn, Laquinta hotel and Sand Rose. Wasn't sure what hotel you were staying at sometimes. My review is honest and truthful. They are remodeling the hotel, so maybe in a few years it would be nice. Locate was perfect for us.

Check in was an hour and a half late. My keys were not working, kept changing them every time. It was very frustrating and disappointing. Got late to an appointment we had due to tardiness and lax of support by staff. Room was not comfortable at arrival, it was muggy and warm. I was really disappointed as it was not a pleasant experience.

Love coming here, we as a family have stayed here since this was the La Quinta. Great staff and property. Enjoyed that guest have the option of Happy Hour and the on site options for dining. The last two years they have been doing exterior maintenance in the area around the pool that make it a little harder to navigate that area.

Our room was clean & we'll stay there again. On the other side, our thermostat had to be set at 64 degrees to keep it cool enough in the room, yes, I know the humidity is some to blame. Hotel was close to the beach, outside area was nice. Some outside work was being done but not any problem.

Absolutely EXCELLENT! We had no idea what a treat we were in for booking this resort! Right on the beach, food & drink options within walking distance, gorgeous ocean views, a surprise sand castle competition, excellent breakfast, huge comfortable room - I cannot say enough. We actually ended up never leaving & just enjoyed every aspect of this great place!

Beach was nice and clean. Pool had lots of people in it all weekend. From our view it looked a little dirty. Housekeepers keep the floors very clean. Breakfast was wonderful but the hallway and stairway had an order that was very distasteful to me. Staff was all super nice. Bakery and bar in the back were my favorites. My friend was sick, so he watched a lot of TV. The TV was very hard to figure out!! No Directions. Lots of plugs did not work. We enjoyed our stay but the noice level next door and at the pool were pretty loud all three nights.

At first I couldn't get into the room because the key didn't work so had to go to the front desk and get that fixed. Then when I go into the room the air conditioner didn't work, when maintenance came to get it started it made a terrible racket so they had to replace it and then it was better. Then I went out for a walk on the beach and got back to the room the bathroom floor was all wet and the toilet seat was wet like someone took a shower with curtain open, but that is not what happened. So I went to the front desk to let them know and that I would like a new room. By the time I got back to the room there was a stream of water coming out of the ceiling fan. So they did get us a new room. That was nice of them. Except I had nothing but troubles for the 5 hours I was there before the new room.
