Beach house fun
This property was perfect for our families beach vacation. The location of the beach right across the street and the use of the wagon and lawn chairs and sand toys made it super easy to enjoy the beach with ease. The grocery store was just a few blocks away, so it was easy to walk to the market for supplies. Also you could catch the free bus right outside to go anywhere on the islsnd! My favorite part was the porch swing with a view of the ocean and plenty of opportunities for people watching. The owner was super nice and helpful as well. We had a blast! Definitely recommend!!

Our stay was wonderful! Lynn met us as we pulled in the driveway and we had a short visit. This property is well maintained and in a great location. We will definitely recommend this property and we hope to stay there again in the future!

Awesome place!
This place is very nice. Nice porch with swing. Very close to beach. Stocked with everything you could need. Comfortable beds. Clean. Communication is excellent. Second stay here and will be back. Quiet and ideal if you have a pet. Appreciate so much that they are dog friendly. 5 star!!

Would recommend.
We really enjoyed our visit. Lynn and the Captain were great. We walked the beach daily - public access is right across the road. Loved the covered porch and being able to see the ocean a bit. The place was clean with all the amenities you would expect, including beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, and more. The beds and pillows were excellent. Thanks Lynn!

Beautiful property and an ideal location
Situated across the street from the pedestrian beach access, the view and the sound of the surf was wonderful. The accommodations were excellent - furnishings, appliances, etc were definitely above average. The property manager is exceptional - she bent over backwards to ensure we had an ideal stay.

Beautiful, Private, Relaxed, Convenient
Perfect family getaway housing. I recommend this location if you want a casual experience away from the crowd. My husband, kids (11 & 14), and I flew into Harlingen Airport and rented a car. Car rental was not much more expensive than the airport shuttle. We arrived around lunch time, and text Lynn for lunch recommendations. She let us know when cleaning was done which got us into the rental an hour earlier. Lynn is so nice and welcoming. All the positive things said about her in other posts are very true. The home location is perfect with a guaranteed off street parking spot. There are two rentals upstairs, and we stayed in the south side. We could see the water and feel the breeze from the front porch. Access to towels, beach gear, umbrella, chairs, cooler (big and small one), and boogie boards were part of why booked, and it was so great to have those at our fingertips. There is also an outdoor shower for rinsing off. The beach access is right across the street, and allowed several stress free beach visits. The kids would also walk back to the house to grab a drink or snack or take a break. Great place and awesome experience.
