Vacation at Stone House

Fantastic house in a fantastic location. Thanks Christoph, Christel and the 'gardener' for giving us the perfect vacation - an experience served with great care and professionalism. The house has too many qualities to list - but the swimming pool, the many relaxing areas and the outdoor kitchen deserve a mention. The best compliment we can give is that when we were out exploring the beautiful beaches and villages of the peninsula we always looked for an excuse to return to the house. We shouldn't forget the people of Pelion - warm, kind and generous. Proud people wanting to share their unique way of life. Thanks. Highly recommended to anyone wanting to explore this beautiful part of Greece.

Unique house with a fantastic view

This is a very old house that has been partly modernised. The bedrooms and upstairs balcony provide great holiday accommodation. The property description says that there is an outside kitchen, we thought that there would be an inside one too but there isn't. The cooking facilities are basic. It is limited to an old gas burner which is difficult to control and a built in BBQ which has a poor chimney and doesn't draw making it impossible to keep the fire going. The bathroom is decribed as having "access from outside", we thought there would also be access from the inside but there isn't because it is downstairs and outside in the garden. It is challenging and inconvenient to use it during the night. Overall the house is well equipped, has lots of character and has a beautiful garden. We enjoyed our stay but the description is misleading and we wouldn't have booked it if it had been clear that both the kitchen and bathroom facilities were totally outside.

schönes Grundstück in ruhige Lage

Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer und der Verwalterin vor Ort war sehr gut. Das alte Steinhaus befindet sich auf einem schön angelegten Grundstück. Es gibt viele Sonnen- und Schattenplätze. Der Pool und die Terasse sind wunderbar. Wer, wie wir, kein Problem damit hat, dass Küche und Toilette/Bad außerhalb sind, ist hier richtig. Im Haus hätten wir uns zwar Fliegengitter gewünscht und ein paar Kleinigketen sollten mal wieder auf Vordermann gebracht werden (Sonnenschirm, Satellitenschüssel, fehlender Fön) aber der Gesamteindruck wird darurch nicht getrübt.

The property was exactly as described in listing. Host was excellent and replied promptly to e mails and all enquiries. The house itself is full of rustic charm. The pool is great, big enough to swim some meaningful lengths. The fact it had no shallow end was a bonus for us as it meant that our 5 year old left a very good swimmer. The view from the terrace is superb. We loved the quietness of the surrounding area and the local village of Argalasti is very nice. The villa is equipped with everything needed for a great holiday.

Steinhaus und der Pool sind wunderbar

Das Baden in diesem tollen Pool hat uns und unseren Kindern so viel Spaß gemacht, dass wir wieder kaum Zeit für das ebenfalls unglaublich tolle Meer hatten. Die Reise und Opa‘s 75. Geburtstag bleiben unvergesslich!

Einfach nur schön!

Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet, hat eine perfekte Lage, einen großen gut angelegten Garten mit mehreren Ebenen und viel Schatten, die Außenküche und das Außenbad vermitteln eine gewisse Campingatmosphäre, die mir sehr gut gefiel. Der Pool ist der Hammer und der Blick von der Terrasse auf den Golf im Sonnenuntergang perfekt! Alles in allem: wer Ruhe sucht, findet sie hier! Vielen Dank dem Team für die tolle Betreuung!

Wunderbare Oase mit Sonne und Meer

Wir haben zwei traumhafte Wochen verbracht, Pool und Garten ausgiebig genossen, sowie die umliegenden Tavernen, charmanten Orte und traumhaften Strände entdeckt. Trotz Hitzewelle war das Haus angenehm kühl und gerade die verschiedenen Sitzecken sehr hilfreich um stets ein kühles Eckchen zu finden. Check in/out sehr unkompliziert und hervorragende Betreuung vor Ort und seitens des Vermieters! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt in dem Haus.

Das Haus ist sauber und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet.Technisch funktionierte alles, Warmwasser war immer vorhanden.Die offene Küche ist sehr praktisch und wurde häufig genutzt.Auf dem Grundstück gibt es verschiedenen Ruheplätze verteilt, sowie die Sonnenterasse mit wunderbarer Aussicht.Bei regnerischem Wetter, so wie wir es an ein paar Tagen im Mai hatten, fehlt ein trockener Unterstand im Freien.Der Pool ist eine schöne Alternative zu Potistika und anderen Stränden. Aus der Hausbeschreibung war uns nicht bewußt, daß sich die Toilette außerhalb des Hauses befindet , für ältere Personen oder auch Kinder etwas beschwerlich zu nutzen. Outdoor Dusch und Waschgelegenheit sind dagegen unproblematisch. Wir würden wiederkommen !

Traumhaftes Steinhaus

Authentisches und gemütliches Steinhaus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten in idyllischer Lage mit Meerblick. Das verwunschene Anwesen besticht durch seine Ursprünglichkeit, tolle Sitzoasen im herrlich grünen Garten mit Pool. Abends kann man wunderbar einen Sundowner auf der Veranda zu sich nehmen und den Sonnenuntergang mit Meerblick genießen. Einkaufsgelegenheiten sind in 10 Minuten Fahrzeit zu erreichen wie auch diverse Restaurants. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten des Pilions sind mit dem Auto innerhalb von 30-45 Minuten zu erreichen. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Zufluchtsort für alle, die keinen Regeltourismus mögen, sondern Ursprünglichkeit, Entschleunigung und das Besondere suchen.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir (Paar ü50)waren Ende September dort und hatten einen traumhaften Spätsommer. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll und idyllisch - der Pool,ist der Hammer! Selten so lecker gegessen wie in den umliegenden Tavernen und das Meer ist glasklar, die Strände einsam. Wir kommen wieder:-)

Ein magischer Platz für einen einzigartigen Urlaub

Das Haus befindet sich in der bis heute noch vom Tourismus weitestgehend verschonten und unberührten Region Pilion. Das es Software etwas in der Mittelmeerregion noch gibt, war uns nicht bewusst. Die Ausstrahlung, die Atmosphäre, die Aufteilung, die Architektur, die vollkommen geschützte Aussenküche u.a. mit offener Feuerstelle/Grill, der Sehr gut in Grundstück integrierte Pool, der reichhaltige Gärten mit vielen Obst- und Olivenbäumen waren für uns die beste Grundlage für einen perfekten Urlaub. Die unterschiedlichen Terrassen sind zu jeder Tageszeit einladend und geben - bei Bedarf - die Möglichkeit sich zurückzuziehen. Die sehr gepflegte und saubere Ausstattung sowie die sorgfältig ausgewählte Einrichtung geben den Eindruck, dass sich die Eigentümerfamilie mit diesem einzigartigen Haus einen Traum erfüllt haben. Wir werden auf jeden Fall Agia Triada wieder Besuchen und haben es in unserem Freundeskreis bereits empfohlen.

ein Paradies

Wir waren nun das 2. Mal in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus und haben hier wieder Erholung pur genossen. Das Haus liegt einfach wunderschön eingebettet in eine traumhafte Landschaft und ist umgeben von einem sehr großen und urigen Garten mit Orangen -, Zitronen -,Olivenbäumen ,in dem man sich auf den im ganzen Garten verteilten Terassen in Ruhe und in den Schatten zurückziehen kann. Von der oberen Terasse hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und die Inseln und das Dorf Kalamos, das man in 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen kann. Im nächst größeren Dorf Argalasti bekommt man alles, was man zu Leben braucht und am Samstag gibt es dort einen sehr schönen Markt, auf dem heimische Produkte angeboten werden. Das Haus ist sehr hübsch eingerichtet und die Ausstattung ist beispielhaft!! Man vermisst einfach nichts!! Der neue Pool ist an heißen Tagen eine echte Bereicherung!! Im Haus befindet sich auch reichlich Urlaubslektüre und viele interessante Unterlagen und Führer von der Umgebung und es lohnt sich wirklich die ein oder andere Wanderung zu machen auf der man auf den alten Eselpfaden eine wunderschöne Natur erleben kann! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder...zur nächsten Erholung im Paradies!!

Wunderschönes Schmuckstück

Das war jetzt mein dritter Urlaub in der Villa „Agia Triada“, dieses Mal mit der ganzen Familie. Das Haus liegt, mit dem Auto gut erreichbar, zwischen Argalasti und Kalamos, an einer kaum befahrenen Straße. Es ist rundherum von einer Mauer umgeben, so dass auch kleine Kinder gefahrlos laufengelassen werden können. Mit nur einem Haus in der Nachbarschaft, das aber nicht durchgehend bewohnt zu sein scheint, hat man absolute Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit. Der Garten ist sehr groß, mit altem Obstbaumbestand und Steinterrassen auf mehreren Ebenen, auf denen sich auch in der mittäglichen Sommerhitze immer ein schattiges, leicht windiges Plätzchen finden lässt. Seit diesem Jahr gehört ein ungewöhnlich schöner Pool dazu, tief genug, dass Kinder und Erwachsene stundenlang springen, toben und tauchen können. Das Haus selber ist ein altes Bauernhaus und bietet genügend Platz für eine Familie mit drei Kindern. Es wurde von den Besitzern schlicht, modern und schön eingerichtet. Die Küche befindet sich draußen, was sich im Sommer als sehr angenehm gezeigt hat. Wunderschön: Die Dachterrasse, von der man tags einen grandiosen Blick über die Bucht von Volos, und nachts auf einen schier endlosen Sternenhimmel hat. Eine Klimaanlage gibt es nicht, dafür aber Ventilatoren, die die nächtliche Hitze erträglich machen. Die sonstige Ausstattung ist gegenüber dem, was wir sonst so gesehen haben, sicher überdurchschnittlich gut. Im Wohnzimmer liegt eine umfangreiche Informationsbroschüre bereit, der man alles Wichtige zum Haus und zum Pilion entnehmen kann. In der Umgebung kann man wunderbar wandern, wenn es nicht zu heiß ist. Genau hinterm Haus geht ein schöner Wanderweg an einer alten Kapelle vorbei nach Argalastie. Das Dorf ist 7 km entfernt und bietet alles, was man so braucht. Zum Baden sind wir meistens 20 Minuten mit dem Wagen nach Potistika, an die andere Seite des Pilion gefahren. Der nächste Strand ist zwar nur 800 m vom Haus entfernt und auch ganz schön und sogar schattig, Potistika war aber unschlagbar.
