“Friendly staff at front desk & kitchen. Clean, comfortable bed. Needs renovation. Old stained carpet in room. No coffee at breakfast. Machine empty and broken.”

“It was okay for the price, peaceful and clean. Sadly the mattress was a bit uncomfortable & springy. I slept on top of the comforter and used my own. My room was clean and smelled great. The tv bit small for king size bed & room size. The channel selection was pretty basic. Small fridge worked. Very small microwave & it was a bit dented up but worked. I wouldn't mind staying there again if the price is right. Ive paid for nicer at same price or cheaper. I was worried about the reviews especially……

“The front desk staff was very welcoming. The room had coffee but no cream or sugar. Hall carpeting very stained and dirty as was the carpet in the breakfast area. It appears they are in the process of updating landscaping, but many areas had weeds growing in beds knee high. It made the hotel look abandoned. Trash can outside entrance was full. Very disappointing !”

“The lodge is nestled in a beautiful setting in the trees along side the lake. It was perfect! We watched a fawn from our balcony while we had coffee. Great stay, wish we had stayed longer.”

The front desk guy was nice, but gave me 2 sets of keys that didn't work for one room, then on the third try, he put me into a different room. The room needs work. I couldn't get the deadbolt to lock, no matter what I tried. It was already so late, I didn't ask to be moved, but probably should've. There was broken drywall under the window, LOTS of hair in the shower, and mold on the ceiling (as I was lying in bed, I noticed the……

“The room was very clean. Beds comfy. Pull out couch was comfortable. Breakfast was good. The pool was nice but kept running out of towels because there were so many people swimming. But the staff was very attentive and replaced towels when requested. I loved the cornhole game and large connect four game in the courtyard. I would definitely recommend this hotel. ”
